WAR AND PEACE This looks fun!  Have you mud-wrestled? Would you like to mud-wrestle? Morrissey, the lead singer of the 1980s band, The Smiths, has a reputation for being forthright in his views. Recently, he claimed: “If more men were homosexual, there would be no wars, because homosexual men would never kill other men, whereas heterosexual men love killing other men. They even get medals for it. Women don’t go to war to kill other women. Wars and armies and nuclear weapons are essentially heterosexual hobbies.” Would there be more peace if women and homosexual men were in power? When was the last fight that you had? And, why did you fight? My last fight was at school; I punched someone because he was a year younger and goading me as I was quite small for my age; I made sure I had a friend with me when I punched him. I wasn’t proud of what I did, but he did stop being cheeky towards me! I know that I would much sooner see two men kissing than fighting in a bar. If a bar has a bouncer on the door, I think it’s probably not a bar for me. Morrissey is also a committed vegetarian; the second album released by The Smiths was titled Meat is Murder. Morrissey called the Chinese a “subspecies” because of their treatment of animals. He described the 2011 attacks by Anders Breivik in Norway, killing 97 people, as “nothing compared to what happens in McDonald’s and Kentucky Fried shit every day.” Are you a vegetarian or vegan? If so, on what grounds are you vegetarian or vegan? Though very much against animal cruelty, I will eat them. I like bacon, fillet steak and prawns too much to give meat up. Morrissey also called the UK’s Royal Family as “benefit scroungers”. Fair point! |

I'm a "meat" eater except during Lent! I haven't mud wrestled but would with the right people!

Would there be more peace if women and homosexual men were in power? Morrissey is an idiot and he always was, even when he was with the Smiths. There are plenty of hitmen, military men and serial killers who were both gay and lost no sleep after killing people. There have been plenty of priests and peace activists who were straight. Morrissey needs to stick with music.

Have you ever noticed vegetarians are bitchy...Just my opinion. Like Morrissey, who feels because he has a microphone in hand he also has to share his opinions. To each their own. I do think there should be more women in high office but I do not think gender or sexual orientation sways how one belives or motivates aggression.
