PRINCE ALBERT
PRINCE ALBERT Francis Albert Augustus Charles Emmanuel was Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, who became the husband and Prince Consort of Queen Victoria when they married in 1840 until his death in 1861. At the start of the marriage, Prince Albert was not very popular. This Prince Albert below, however, is very popular! The Prince Albert is one of the most common male genital piercings. The origins of this piercing are not known. The piercing was developed in the early 1970s by a group of gay body piercers - Jim Ward, Doug Malloy and Fakir Musafar - in California. Why do trends often start in California? Doug Malloy claimed that Prince Albert invented this piercing to make his large penis look smaller in his tight trousers. There is no evidence to suggest that Prince Albert invented or even wore such a piercing. It seems more likely that these three body piercers named the piercing after Prince Albert for another reason. The most common starting sizes of a Prince Albert are 12- or 10-gauge in thickness. Too thick can be uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time; and too thin can tear the penis – this is known as the ‘cheese-cutter effect’! According to Elayne Angel, the author of The Piercing Bible, the Prince Albert requires a healing time of 4 to 6 weeks. In this time, men will experience bleeding and may experience a stinging sensation when peeing. Elayne Angel also claims that the main reported problems by men having this piercing are more psychological than physical in nature. She compares the piercing to having an ear-piercing and advises that the piercing is less painful than a nipple-piercing. One problem is that the Prince Albert can get caught up with loose clothing. Elayne Angel observes that “a majority of men find that briefs or other snug-fitting undergarments are comfortable.” According to The Piercing Bible, many men and women say a Prince Albert has enhanced their sex lives, though some have reported discomfort when having sex with a Prince Albert. Condoms can be worn with a Prince Albert; no special condoms are required. Other male genital piercings include the ampallang, apadravya, dolphin, dydoe, frenum, guiche, hafada, and lorum piercings. Do you wear, or have you ever worn, a Prince Albert? Have you ever had sex with a Prince Albert? If so, what was it like? Would you have sex with someone with a Prince Albert piercing? Do you have any body piercings? |

No piercings of any kind! "OUCH"

I don't have (and will never get any piercings.) Just not my thing. I like girls with pierced ears, and even eyes! And I once had a gf who totally rocked a tongue ring. (I wasn't into those before her.) But beyond that, piercings can get in the way! Especially nipple piercings and I've never been with a woman who had a clitoral piercing, but I don't think it would be a turn on for me. Prince Albert? Reminds me of a prank call kids used to make to stores... "Do you have Prince Albert in a can?" (I believe it was/is a tobacco product.) .. "Well you'd better let him out before he suffocates!" - click Read my diary Journal of a Taxi Driver for taxi stories and pictures of flowers and trees.

Thanks for your post. My nipples are ultra-sensitive and hate them even being touched, never mind pierced!
