ORGASM

One research study found that 75 per cent of men orgasm but only 28.6 per cent of women orgasm during sexual intercourse. This does not seem very fair!

How often do you achieve orgasm when having sex?
Why do men orgasm far more than women?

In their book, The Social Organization of Sexuality, Laumann, Gagnon, Michael and Michaels present their research findings from the most comprehensive survey of sexual practices of American adults. They surveyed 3,432 people. Their research, like many other sex survey research, was funded by the US federal government.

Do you think governments should fund sex research?
Have you ever been surveyed for sex research?

I have never been approached to complete a survey for anything, never mind for sex!

I know that I don't have a wide range of experience. (especially not recently)

But with the last several ladies I've been with I contradict this trend, which I know is true. I was with multi-orgasmic squirter, and she outdid me in orgasms 20-1. (She was so wet and every time she's cum I'd lose traction! lol) Actually, no complaints here.

Not to mention that I like to get a lady off first, before I do.

.. Um, (in general) men are easier to "get off"

I'm also a liberal and think that the government's should fund as much (logical) "research" as is feasibly possible. (Not sure where "sex" ranks on the list of "importance". )

I have completed many sex-'surveys', often much to the dismay of the one taking it. I can't be "pegged down" by most societal conventions.

Read my diary Journal of a Taxi Driver for taxi stories and pictures of flowers and trees.

I think the joke

"How can you tell when a woman cums?"

"Who cares!"

Might hint at why women have fewer orgasms.

If you look at women as second class citizens, subservient to men then it's not surprising that such attitudes are found in the bedroom. If you see women as equal partners then you might be a less selfish lover...

When I came across a woman who 'squirted' for the first time, I was very confused. At the time I did not know 'squirting' happened - my school never told me!

Your joke, unfortunately, often sums it up!

I think we should set up a group to demand to be surveyed by pollsters; without us, no survey can ever be representative!

I suspect that Affairlook members are not typical of the wider population; more research is needed!

I think their numbers are just for the act of sexual intercourse and not for all acts of sex.

Very true! In the future, men may not be needed to keep the human species going.
