EXTREME POLE DANCING
EXTREME POLE DANCING Above is a photograph of a pole dancer performing in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The world record for the “farthest distance climbed inverted up a pole in one minute” – yes, Guinness World Records does have such a category! – is held by Nele Bruckmann of Germany. On 1 September 2007, she climbed 31 feet 11 inches (9.73 metres) up a pole in Hamburg. Difficult pole dancing moves include the Allegra Box Splits, Batman, Banana Splits, Bendy Diva Dive, Dangerous Bird, Extended Brass Monkey, Keem, Music Box, Rainbow Marchenko, and Rubber Double Elbow. In recent years, extreme pole dancing is becoming increasingly popular. In India, extreme pole dancing is called Mallakhamb. Extreme pole dancers often use a free-standing, portable and lightweight dance pole. Katherine Humphrey, a pole dance instructor and university lecturer, launched the British 3-Peaks Challenge. This challenge involves extreme pole dancers climbing and pole-dancing on the three biggest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales in 24 hours! Is anyone up for the British 3-Peaks Challenge? Have you been to a pole dancing show? Have you pole danced? |

I have seen a pole dance years ago! I once saw a pole dancer shoot a ping pong ball out of her pussy! I don't pole dance!

I have seen one pole dancing show and was impressed with some of the moves. x

I agree with your logic. Perhaps they are hoping pole dancing will one day be an Olympic sport. If synchronised swimming is an Olympic sport, then, why not!

A ping pong ball - that's impressive! Did it go far?

She shot it out, a fella in the audience caught it, then popped it in his mouth!
