BICURIOUS?

BICURIOUS? Curious about bicurious? This is a post I've long wanted to put out!  According to Wikipedia, “Bi-curious is a term used to refer to people of a heterosexual or homosexual identity who, while showing some curiosity for a relationship or sexual activity with a person of the sex they do not favor, distinguish themselves from the bisexual label. The term is sometimes used to describe a broad continuum of sexual orientation between heterosexuality and bisexuality.... In general, the term refers to someone who is contemplating and has prepared oneself for, but not yet acted upon - relations with those of same and different sex.” This suggests bicurious is a transient phase of sexuality; once having enjoyed a bisexual experience, the person should then decide whether they are heterosexual, homosexual or bisexual. But, I guess, sexuality is always transient, always changing. On this site, far more women than men describe themselves as bicurious. Why is that? Does this mean women are more curious than men? Or, does it mean that men deny their curiousity? We are aware that this site seems to be very different for men and women and for singles and couples. As a couple looking for couples, we tend to interpret a bicurious man as being very interested in a bisexual encounter and we tend to interpret a bicurious woman as not being very interested in a bisexual encounter. For couples, men here tend to be the ones representing a couple. Many men seem to like the thought of watching lesbian sex, but women don’t seem to get off so much on watching gay sex. Is that true? If so, why? We are cool about whatever happens as things often happen in the heat of the moment regardless of labels. I regard myself as heterosexual but I’ve played with a man’s cock and balls! Does that make me bicurious or bisexual? How would you describe your sexuality? How has your sexuality changed? Are you bicurious? How do you interpret ‘bicurious’? |

If you would like my opinion... Its we as a whole find the woman body more sexual and attractive than we do the men's body.. That's why we lean more towards wanting to see and watch and hear about Bi girls then we do Bi men.. As far as you asking about if or what you are.. Not really sure on that one..

I have come to the conclusion that it is all just a bunch of meaningless labels. I am not attracted to guys at all but I would love to play with a nice cock under the right circumstances. Some men figure if they do it with another guy while their wife is there then it somehow isn't as "gay." Women who want to experiment with other women just to see what it is like get hung up that they will then be "Bi" or lesbian. I say; who cares? Do what feels good. Do what is fun. Try stuff and see what you like. As long as nobody gets hurt then it is all good. The labels don't mean anything. Women tend to have closer relationships among other women than guys do among guys. I think it gives them a head start to being "bi curious" because they already know how to be somewhat intimate with their own sex. The stigma isn't there like it is for guys. We are taught from an early age that guys don't share emotionally with other guys. We have a lot more boundaries to cross and a lot more ground to cover before we get to the place where women start from. As far as watching 2 women together, guys tend to be more visually stimulated than women so it would make sense that there was an imbalance in that direction. Women's shapes are burned into every guys DNA as being desirable and pleasurable to watch. Not so with guys bodies. Just my 2 cents!

I think it's because the site is where bicurious women come to experiment. It is far more acceptable on a sex site than on a "dating" site where you might be pigeon-holed into heterosexual or homosexual. The clue is in the numbers - there are as many women looking for women as women looking for men, which is definitely not representative of the population. But from what I've seen they aren't lesbians, they are women in relationships with men who'd "like a go with a woman" - usually while hubby watches. If you are a woman who'd like to try another woman where else would you go? However, just as gay men don't use the site, I imagine bicurious men would use other sites where they'd be more likely to get some action.

I have always been straight. Are you bicurious? Not at all. I am not attracted to the female form. Mind you, a she-male would be a distinct possibility for me, but they would need to have a working penis ... and it would have to be in a group situation, not one on one. How do you interpret ‘bicurious’? I understand bi-curious to mean exactly that ... that the person is curious, but either has not tried bi before, or has not tried it very often. I have been involved in group situations with bi men before, and don't mind at all, because I find everything about a man, and a male body sexy. I have never been involved in a group situation with bi women though, so I don't know if I would find that a bit offputting. I can't bear to watch lesbian or bi-female porn, but I find gay or bi-male porn quite exciting.

I just can't get into male on male sex, It is not a turn on for me, But being with another woman is such a turn on, I guess if my male partner and I were in a foursome and the guys decide to try it I would be ok with it because I would want him to except me being with another woman, If just might be a turn on for me seeing it in live action
