BERING (IS NOT) STRAIT

In his book, Why Is the Penis Shaped Like That?, Jesse Bering describes himself as a "godless, gay, psychological scientist with a penchant for far-flung evolutionary theories".

Bering observes that, compared to other primate animals, human males have large penises. Also human penises have pronounced coronal ridges, whereas other primates' penises are more shaft-like. He argues that the shape of the human male penis, during sexual intercourse, creates a vacuum-like effect in the female vagina, which helps to remove the sperm of a competitor male. He concludes that the human penis is an evolutionary tool to increase a man's (and to reduce other men's) chances of insemination. Bering further believes that the shape of the human penis proves that humans are not evolutionary designed to be monogamous.

Also, according to Bering, pubic hair is "furry advertising" of sexual maturity. He also argues that public hair protects against sexually transmitted diseases and claims that the fashion for pubic hair removal is linked to increases in the rates of sexually transmitted diseases.

Bering examines why men's testicles that are so vital for reproduction are positioned in a very vulnerable place.
Conventional wisdom states that the testicles lie outside the main body to keep cool (and retreat inside the body to keep warm). But Bering suggests that testicles, like male peacock's feathers, act as a signal of sexual prowess to onlooking females.

Finally, Bering reports a research project that found gay porn stimulated erections in 80 per cent of homophobic men but only 34 per cent of non-homophobic men surveyed.

What do you think of Jesse Bering's views?
If you have balls, do you like parading your testicles?
If you like men, are you attracted at looking at their testicles?

Interesting facts. I really like it when a woman feels my balls.

This is not meant to offend any one in any way.

We agree with you. We like the natural look but sometimes a little trim doesn't go amiss!

We're definitely more liberal. This and other similar sites are testament to that. There's also a lot of shaved people, both men and women, on this site as well.

That would be better then ice cubes in her mouth. I have never had much success when a woman does that to me. LOL
