Fairfax media found that there has been a 12 per cent increase in visiting nude resorts (including cruises). It reported: "A recent survey of US households earning US$50,000 or more, found that 17 per cent of respondents viewed a visit to a nude resort as extremely or very desirable."

We have been to Cap d’Agde twice. It was a very enjoyable and interesting experience, especially shopping and eating out while naked. The first time we went we had a balcony overlooking a swimming pool. The view, especially as the day went on, was lots of people having sex while waiters, fully clothed, served drinks!

Cap d’Agde is split between the naturists, including their , and the swingers, called libertines. They go to separate parts of the beach. In the past, a few naturists set fire to a swingers club at the resort. Uniformed police officers patrol the resort.

 I ended up at a gay club in Acapulco once but they kicked me out.

It was on the beach.
