Blogs now require profiles being on We in the process of making a change to the way we link to profiles from blogs that *might* make your blog not show up to others. For now, you need to make sure that your profile is "on" if you want your blog to show up in the blog section. Once we complete the software modifications, blog and profile settings will be able to toggle on/off independently. Your profile settings can be modified in the "My Account" tab. |

Wish your last sentence about modifying profiles would be true! Wish you then manage to solve the profile bug then finally!!! I've been in contact with your CS numerous times since Summer (so several months...) as the modifications to the Additional Questions don't stay there... In some areas only the first ticked box and then added explanations stay, not the other ticked boxes; if more text, nothing changes. All might be ok for 30 min and then disappear, only the old version in visible  I am not too happy that I can't be 'honest' as the profile is showing only half of the reality. I am a true believer of real profiles so hoping this basic thing would be ok too... Only universal or also in Scotland Where to start my day or is it month Of course I39ll change I39ll do whatever you like Heatseeking missiles  Squirter's life

should get rid of some of the fake bloggers I think, too many of the abusive ones switch off their profiles. Good idea, if your profiles off then so should your ability to use the site. Shouldn't let them into chat either if they have no profile Bye everyone, it was a blast

I hope it isn't a permanent thing or at least you aren't thinking about making it a permanent thing, and goes back to normal. At least give those bloggers (and everyone for that matter) that don't want to be emailed/harrassed the option of blocking certain people from viewing their profile.

Andrew, my good man... Long time no talk, hmmm? I got an issue for you to ponder. It's about this recent scenario of "newbies" being visible to only GOLD - for 3 days. I don't have a problem with it... per se. However, if that "newbie" makes a comment to me say, in my BLOG... or in the Ad Lines, or anywhere else... I would really like to know who is making that comment, since I am a Silver and payin' for the use of my BLOG - as well as the rest of the site. Know what I mean? I know ya gotta turn a profit, but ain't there some magic software switch on at least the BLOG LOGs you can throw? Mind you, at my age, I ain't likely to get many hits, if you will, and I certainly wouldn't want to interfere with that Gold Guy's ability to out bid me (so-to-speak)... *LMFAO* ...but if I do end up with some "newbie" sneakin' around my BLOG, why can't I know who's doin' the sneakin'? After all, ain't we all anonymous enough around here?! Barring that possibility, how about just making ONE price fit all? Solar... BTW: I still ain't hit ya up for any favors... yet - just as I promised!

I have a great idea for you, beautiful one... Why don't you make a change to the way you make our blogs and our profiles available on every site that you are associated with under the sun that we most likely do NOT want our profile and our blogs showing on? It was with great regret that I read the notification on RedLipsPrincess's blog and later learned that she was correct with that which she reported as truth. With as much kind regard that I have for your ability to maximize that which you have at your disposal, I do not want my profile on sites that I have not signed up for. I don't want my photos there either and I do not want my blogs as part of your promotion to sell these other sites. If I wanted my photo on those other sites, I'd join them and be real with being there. I really gave you credit for being able to build the business without using and abusing people and their confidence along the way. What a disappointment. You want REAL people here? The kind of people that people would want to meet from blurps on the big silver screen in the name of amazing media coos? You have them here and they are feeling more than a little used and overexposed. That's my suggestion for you LuvPump...the site might be big enough that you could get real with it at this point in time. Blessings for a brilliant Thanksgiving in spite of the fact that I don't feel safe posting face photos here anymore. Just a little food for thought............. If you really want to be happy, nobody can stop you... {=}

Andrew ... I have to agree with the issues that Goddess46 has brought to the table. I AM one of those that this SITE has compromised. A stranger, one of your members, pulled up my profile and was able to view my personal information. He viewed my emails and knew my private information, he called my number and told me how many emails I had and how many emails I sent out. I have been in touch with your CS and Abuse Dept WHO have done nothing to resolve the issue and pulled my "main" profile off the site. Stating that I had to make the call to a Service Manager to resolve the issue. HOW rude is that and I'm a paying memeber! I do not want my information here, on the Site that I pay membership to be broadcasted to other of your sites that I'm not a member of and YET, I can't even BE a member here when your PRIVACY protection is not so protective after all. I want to feel SAFE for the money that I'm paying each month to enjoy the Blogs and the interaction with other members. I've been here on this sit for 16 months and several months of being a paying member, this happens to me!!! I think you will find that the "REAL MEMBERS, PAYING MEMBERS" will not find this very helpful, no matter how beautiful you color it. I am still waiting for resolution to my privacy being breached on your site. Thank you for your time, or anyone who can tell me what happen and what you are going to do to fix it. I think people would enjoy the site alot better if geographic location was posted under their picture. That way when someone sees a comment from someone in their area it wil stand out to them, instead of having to search everyones profile to find someone in their area. After all, to a large extent, this site is about meeting people in person right. Having geographic location posted under peoples picture when they post comments, gives a better chance of that happening. It may not offer much for Affairlook, but it helps us. Just a thought.

I appreciate the profiles to be on. If the profile is off, they should not be able to play on the site. I appreciate the button on the friends list that lets you knock off people who have their profiles turned off. I had a few stalkers in our community after I first got on here, and they got on my friends list and had their profiles turned off. I only found them by their photo coming up on the random cycle on the network front page. Their is also a problem with the search button on the blogs. I can go to a blog where I know I make a lot of posts and sometimes it will only show one post but most of the time it says I am not posting on that blog. I hate to always have to rely on my memory when my mind was used to storing the trivial stuff online with this button. Now it doesn't work properly so I am once again having to rely on my memory... which I am surprised at its ability to recall. Which brings me to the main purpose of this comment. I wrote you a while back which you were so surprised at the security gap where someone is breaking into my profile page and changing it. First a few months ago they wrote on my title bar, "Hi" and when I wrote "Not Hi but why?" I was immediately answered like we were on IM... "Can't tell." Well, I changed my password and now a few months down the line the Spector has returned. This time he took down my whole profile description and put something assinine up. Well, after the first time, I have backuped everything and returned it to the original. Also this one man claimed he could get on my site because I emailed him a page. I have found they time out so I set aside any pages and remove any links before I send one on. Another point that I have sent your people is that this troll was doing this at the same time "who's your daddy" escapade happened. So then it makes me wonder if this is someone working for you that messes with my profile page. Who else could do this but someone on the inside? Please find this security breech and take care of it. When I write to the help people they say they don't know how someone is getting into my profile page and suggest to redo the page and change the password. More trivial stuff to keep in my mind. I blog to get things out of my mind and if I must replace it with a new password and backups all the time... where is the fun in that? I am emailing you this too as well as the help line so the squeeky wheel will get greased here. It has to either be this Spector on my blog or someone who is in your office. If I do not get an answer soon, I think I will be looking for another company to entertain me in my blogging pastime... Thank you for your considerations. L'Oracle de L'Amour
