Any additions would be cool! HTML type scripting.... Very cool! See where I'm quoted... Again very cool! Will it apply to standard members like me? the simple fast is, all upgrades are going to make things better in the long run. i'm just a bit concerned about messing up the social network until the changes are made. I can't say whether an "All at once" or a "Slow and Incremental" strategy is better, but you have a good thing going here!!!

Many thanks for both listening and doing.

Thank you for not allowing our blog voyeurs69in2003 to disappear. It is going strong and has thousands of viewers. Affairlook is getting better and better. Affairlook should allow quoting some other sources on the Internet, not as an advertising but as an education.

I think all of these improvements are wonderful. I'm looking forward to seeing them in action. I just have one request ... is it possible for all bloggers to have a list of just the names of their posts for quick reference? Like the list on the group pages. That would really help (in my opinion). Thanks!! ~Kisses, RPR

Thank you. I will be curious to see the interface you use for responding to comments. For those who get many comments they sometimes like to respond to multiples from within one comment. Rather than a one-to-one thing. I had envisioned a place along the side where one could put a check just like on shopping sites where one wants to compare several items. Then a link to respond to those checked. The screen would come up not necessesarily quoting each but maybe with the handle of each commenter (user choice if they want to quote or not. Maybe the difference between a quote vs reply link). Some folks seem to prefer to quote while others not and some do a mix. Thanks for all your efforts. SR

Other interface thought. If the reply button when replying to many produced a screen with all selected quoted for reference so it would be easy to reply to each without scrolling up to see each comment. The button at the bottom then could be post commented or Post just with handle. SR

I'd like to echo the call to place fixing the missing blogs as a high priority fix (although I'm not actually directly affected by this, as yet). It's a bit harsh when someone has taken the time and effort to put together a regularly updated and well-trafficked blog to lose their top ranking because of a glitch. It seems like a couple of people are having these problems; I'd like to think that, because of the effort that many people put into their blogs, their stability should be paramount. Thanks for taking the time to this, and other comments. It's an excellent thing when the CEO is willing to put his head above the parapet like this to get feedback directly from his customers.

I guess my biggest concern is that I see a number of quality bloggers out there who are standard members. I can sort of understand the need to approve posts but, at the same time, I often wonder the process go have these posts approved. I'd also like to get a handle on how the complaint system works? For example, I know of one standard member who is an excellent blogger who has had the odd post denied because it came back as "too short". I also know that this particular member has had their profile suspended for, what some would call, pretty minor infractions. (some would argue that they may not even be infractions and more acts of self defense in the face of Affairlook 's seemingly unwillingness to address some of the issues around member etiquette) Conversely, I see another standard member blogger who is frequently in the slots (I won't put their name here because I don't want to give them any noteriety) who spams the blogs with dozens of posts a day with 1 and 2 word posts. Most of these posts are nonsensical and many contain pictures of animals and children (a blatant violation of Affairlook policy). Furthermore, a number of this person's posts are blatantly anti-semetic and many actually foster hate for western nations and hint at taking up the cause of known terror groups) I have requested reviews of these posts, I have written you directly to have the matter addressed becuase and I have gone through the Affairlook complaint process but nothing has happened. I have had no feedback and, although I tried to bring this up in a way that called little or no attention to the open hate mongering going on, the lack of any feedback system for my complaints has put me in a position to address it through this channel. This person continues to spam the blogs, they continue to appear in the slots with no action being taken. I think it would be great if we could somehow get feedback to the complaints that we do lodge but at the same time get a sense of how to level the playing field because there seems to be no standard process for yanking a persons profile without notice or, in this case allowing one to stay active whole openly promoting hatred for jews and an number of other groups on your site. I do think that it's great that you've opened this forum but I think that we need to see a lot more transparancy in some of these processes. Cheers

Has anyone noticed that if you take the link to the actual blog post it will not show you as a recent visitor, the only way you show as a recent vistor is if you take the link to read the whole blog itself....

Glad you're excited about the site changes - I'm thankful for them. However there are some other changes needed. The post below I've been trying to have approved near all day. Originally, it contained no profanity (though I'm effing pissed now and would love to cuss). It did contain the name of a tv show and the main character - it also contained the name of the tv channel I was watching. Oh, and it contained one of those little smiley faces = I've sent a question to customer service and received a rather irritating auto reply. Sent the question a second time after my post was again denied. Seems clear rules regarding what is acceptable or not on a blog would be nice. The post below continues to be denied. Please explain why. An even more wonderful idea in terms of customer service would be to receive an actual resonse to questions instead of being insulted with your auto reply. Sincerly, Whispersoftly5 - The post in question is below - maybe you will provide better service and tell me what is so horrible about it that it can't be posted. Thank you. p.s. the 6 views reflected are those made when denying the post. Sheesh! Give me a break! Scattered Sick Time Thoughts... Mar 15, 2006 12:39 pm 6 views Poor me. Sigh... I'm home not feeling well at all. Typically, if I'm home during the day I'm working (reviewing files, writing e-mails, on the phone, etc.). But not today. Today I'm not feeling well. Today I'm laying in bed and watching TV. I hardly ever watch TV. I like it - but would rather pick up a book or go out or blog. I've been watching this cool old show on a sci-fi type channel. I sort of remember it from watching TV as a child. The main character is a reporter or something and is sort of goofy. The first of these shows I watched today was about witches in the fashion industry - the goofy reporter got to talk with witches - manikins mysteriously moved and attacked him - people were killed - all through it he kept his cool and dealt with every situation. The show on now is about some woman who somehow takes people's youth in order to keep herself young. I know this is the concept of the show because I just saw her take the youth from a young man jogging in a park. Once she was done with him he was old and dead and all of her wrinkles were gone. They just disappeared. I don't know what's to happen next - I'm just giddy with anticipation. Of course there are commercials. They're about medical insurance - life insurance - mobile chairs - new drugs - solutions to dealing with educational challenges - etc. The last time I was sick and at home watching TV the commercials were the same. Different actors - same messages. It's amazing to me how the types of commercials played vary on time of day and day of week. Even more amazing would be if 95% of the people who normally spend time at home during the day and watch TV are not chronically depressed for watching all the commercials. I sure would be if I watched these commercials every day. The last time I was home and watching corny old TV shows I enjoyed them as much as I am today. These shows are great. The background music playing leaves something to be desired - but the people are beautiful. They've long hair, Afros and the natural look going on. At least that's the women. Most of the men I'm seeing are not as pretty and sadly none of them are wearing sexy glasses. What made for good TV back in the 60s and 70s is a far cry from what makes good TV today. I like the innocence of the 60s/70s TV - even though we really were not innocent - we at least somewhat seemed that way on TV. Even though I'm not feeling well Even though I'm watching commercials that serve as natural depressants Even though I'm seeing all the beautiful 60s/70s people on corny TV Even though... I'm aroused. I'm incredibly aroused. And... I'm home alone. I'm going to masturbate - play with my toys and enjoy an orgasm or ten. Even though I'm not feeling well - I'll be feeling great very soon...
