1- Use of Black text instead of the (traditional) Blue for Hyperlinks is confusing.

2- Hyperlinks not easily recognize due to not being underlined (both the Blue and Black).

3- Inbox displayed on right side above the Navigational Toolbar in small text; whereas, the Inbox should been placed into the Navigational Tool Bar next to Home.

4- Finding the link for Logging Out extremely difficult and inconvenient.

5- Discussion Forums of members Quoting of other members difficult to differentiate what is quoted and what is response. That is due to the text being squeezed together without prominent space between the Quote and Response or highlighting used of what is quoted.

6- Text format size dropped from standard 12pt to 10pt.

7- Standard Member Home Page has "Upgrade Now" (banner style) on upper right side in red that is approximately 40px X 140px with "Upgrade Now" in 16pt font. Also an "Upgrade Now" on the upper left side in a table cell highlighted in yellow that is approximately 200px X 240px that is directly above the Member profile photo; which the account owner\member photo should be in that place.I am assuming that format is used on the Silver members Home Page with trying to have them Upgrade to Gold memberships.

8- Member (account owner) Photo on their home page is 48px X 48px thumbnail; whereas, it was 96px X 96px.

9- The Blogs of SiteSupport , Community, are extremely difficult to finding and basically conveniently hidden from the members view; in addition, [blog Events] which members are actively involved with when there are promotional contests is not even listed on that "Community" page. Furthermore, not even the Group of Live From AFF that is owned and moderated by site employee Community-Community is in that "Useful Link" listing.

10- Non Site Employee(s) Group and Blog being used for "Tutorials" and basically a "Help and Information" section for both old and new members instead of Various, Inc. owned\moderated\operated forums.

11- Previous format of Member Home Page gave members easy Navigation of the site and forums even without the use of the Navigational Toolbar. Members were able to access their own Blog, Groups that they Moderated and\or members of with one click of their mouse button. Also were able to visit any forum (Magazine, Blogs, Groups, Chat, etc...) with ease. In addition, where able to find SiteSupport, Community, Create Bling and etc... directly from their Home Page.

12- The "old" Site Navigational Bar in Comparison to the "New" Site Navigational Bar was simplified and user friendly and navigated members 90% + to the area of the site that they wanted.

That's just 12 of the reasons why "The Site Redesign" is considered absolutely poorly designed by the Majority of Members that are the Active Users of this site.

As of currently this "Poll" of the members opinion of "The Site Redesign" has 487 votes that break down as shown below.
Very Good = 13, Good = 26, Acceptable = 63, Poor = 142, Very Poor = 243.
Simple Breakdown = 20.94 % of members Like "The Site Redesign" or consider it as "Acceptable"
79.06 % Do Not Like "The Site Redesign" and consider it a "poor" design.

The percentages has not fluctuated more than 1% between the 2 since the beginning of this poll.

Don't worry......that's my last reponse to this about the new site design.

And why have the little boxes on the right where we can indicate our agreement with other posters' comments vanished? Are you that afraid of seeing our discontent graphically represented? Sheesh.

LOL! It seems that Dan4Frnz's customized box completely eradicated all the "Disagree/neutral/agree" graphs on this page by virtue of its width. Not surprisingly , this is not a problem on the Passion version of this very same blog page. Yet another glitch to be addressed. How many more will you have to fix to bring A F F back to where it was before the switchover?

No No... my table was set at 95% to whatever the main "block" or "table" width, hence its a screw up from their CSS stylesheet!

Are you kidding?? The appearence is so.... amateurish and generic. This looks like a project for a high school computer science class. I know a few programmers who can't find decent work in this bad economy and this is the best you guys could do??

Common sense no longer exists. It has been replaced by common ignorance.

OMG, and now I just noticed that not only are the Agree/Neutral/Disagree charts are gone, but the posts themselves are being cut off at the right side of the screen. Affairlook can't even get their site to function on their own "A F F is Listening" page. Too funny! Or it would be if it weren't an indication of how totally fucked up this redesign has become.

Still here, still reading everything. And yes, I'm scared.

Here are the things we're working on fixing right now:

    1) Return most recent comments by others to your blog
    2) Fix font size and style issues (currently it's just 12pt text for everything, will fix)
    3) Clean up blog comment display so it's more readable
    4) Fix profile "rather not say" in drugs and looking for

View my blog won't be put back into the drop down because it's under the blog section, not a top level navigation. I don't like the new 2 step click either, so I have mine bookmarked in my browser.
Glad to know you folks are working on some fixes.

I personally like the drop downs, looks tidier and things for me are easier to find,... IF everything could be found there , but I've only been going to the blogs and the A/L for the last few months and don't really know how it 'used to be'. Also that you've put divisions between the posts in the A/L, that's good... and that you're addressing the bloggers issues. But bookmarking in our browsers to get to a place onsite, am I understanding correctly?

* No hope for a more overall colorful format huh?

* Now have you noticed how hard it is to differentiate a quote from the response text in all of the magazine (forums)? It all runs together. Couldn't you 'shade' behind a quote and include the handle of the person you've quoted instead of just saying "Quoting"? You occasionally want to refer back to them by name and you can't remember what it was.

* I'm still having problems with the smilies being hidden sometimes behind boxes below it.

* Will the profiles and blogs be able to get their backgrounds back, and personalize as much as they'd like?

I think a lot of these issues could have been dealt with more easily and with less backlash if you had put up a temporary tutorial on the changes before hand.. and ASKED FOR HELP in finding the glitches and problems instead of just dumping it all on people out of the blue.
There are psychological ways to help people deal with change... which makes transitions much smoother for everyone.

But Allegria, that's part of what's frustrating. Affairlook had many members voluntarily testing the beta for more than a month and apparently most of the flaws they found and noted were never corrected before launching the new version. A F didn't listen to them any more than they're lisrening to us now.

Recently signed up, so I don't know what it was like before. But it couldn't have been this difficult to navigate before. Not very user friendly and everything seems to revert back to default automatically.

No...they want to reduce bandwidth thereby increasing profits...at our expense. That is why everything has gone silent, they will simply wait until everyone has calmed down. Maybe make a few adjustments or work out some of the bugs and they will have shoved this neatly down our throats!!!

We're simply lazy and will allow this to happen...much like we allow our politicians to shove things down our throats!

We forgot to mention that they are also making it tougher for free members to attain the perks, thereby forcing more to join as paying members and again raising the bottom line. We feel that this will backfire as many women are here as free members and they seem to be the main draw!

i noticed when i click on "view my blog" (1, in the picture) link under "member blog", my code is all reflected like supposed to be (2, in the pic)...

but when i click on "active blog" links (3, in the pic), the font size command is completely ignored (4)...

the link from the #2 pic is http://Affairlook.com FriendFinder.com/blog/japaneseass/index.html?oid=134498357_90279...

and the link from the #4 is just http://Affairlook.com FriendFinder.com/blog/japaneseass...no index.html?oid=...

look at the 5 in the pic, link is again from http://Affairlook.com FriendFinder.com/blog/japaneseass/ which font size code is ignored...

picture 6. link is from http://Affairlook.com FriendFinder.com/blog/japaneseass/index.html?oid=134498357_90279

however, from both link, when i click on comment, it goes to the same link http://Affairlook.com FriendFinder.com/blog/japaneseass/index.html?oid=134498357_90279...

whatever this means...i don't know..i am just a layman here...but maybe something to do with this??? does anyone know about this kind of thingy??? if so, please explain...

At this point, the votes are running about 5 to 1 as being poor.
Doesn't that at least get someones attention?
One would think that the customers opinion should matter, but having been on this site for over a year and a half, it makes one wonder.

Hi I prefer the "search" button rather than a "hook up" one...
and please tell me why do we need to upgrade to view "friends"
profiles who we may have been friends with already for a few years??

Isnt that the whole point in adding and inviting friends??

I couldn't agree more. I have to upgrade my membership just to communicate or view larger than icon sized pics of members I have been friends with for many years. I lose friends from my list seems like everyday, I can't even communicate with them anymore, let alone invite new ones, another thing I can't do as a standard member. Not that this part has to do with the new design, but it has become next to impossible for a standard member to make ANY contacts here.

But one last thing about the new layout - I can't tell what's going on here anymore. I don't know who's a gold member, silver, or what. That has become one of the best ways for me to determine if someone is legit or not.

Last, the cam section keeps refreshing and defaulting back to female cams. If I am looking through couples cams, I have to find something FAST before it reverts back to the female cams, then I have to start my search all over again.

Unlike letting politions shoveing things down are throats, we may not be at all inagreement with there decision, but the TAX man will hunt us down if we don't agree!!!! and make us pay!!! BUT a.f.f. is a company that runs on revenue of paying customers. And we dont have to pay then then a fucking thing!!! So they should listen to paying and long term customers, this is a consumer sight, and you have to make you customers happy in order to stay!!! so we do not have to allow it!!!!!!! I will keep fighting till my membership expires or brought back the each individual members right to right to design our web's the way we like, I am out here!!!!! especialy gold members!!!!!!! that should be a right we have payed for, now GOLD, SILVER and STANDARD members are all the same!!!

Have a great horny day LUV

Border seems ok?
As sperm harvester says
Txt is too small and does not change size
(only group home pages)
Blogs under community not my stuff
No bling under my stuff
Charts need updating
Blocked members are now not blocked
Colour and blings need to be brought back to profiles
The pop up menus are ok
Even the smaller photos in our inbox are neat.
To reduce web space Affairlook could have

A. Removed profiles not active for a long time

B. Removed non active groups.

C. Deleted remove blings from cyberland

ect

Fix what people are saying the cleaner look
and popup menus are fine.
Its the txt you cant read it if the member likes fonts.

Affairlook should have implemented the new design better
Experienced bloggers site users should have tested
the new layout. Not new members.
Affairlook deserve the backlash
from long time paying members.
