The Site Redesign

I don't see a drop down to pick the kind of flirt on the who flirt with me list on the new redesign, unless I go to the member profile then I can see the hug, kiss, smile, spank, wave, wink drop down. Is there a reason for this or forget to add the drop down with those 6 choices?

This site has become impossible to navigate, many of the functions don't work properly, several have been eliminated, traffic to our profile has slowed to a crawl, interacting with others is too difficult for even us gold members and it is too austere/sanitary looking without ANY warmth. I suppose this means we are headed back to the "other" site (main competitor) of A.F.F. they seem to be more responsive to at least the paying members. We feel sorry for all the standard members...many of them are the ladies that draw a large percentage of the membership in!!! Don't be afraid of living, Fear instead never having lived!

Seems that some comments posted here get deleted so will try again. 1) The font size in blogs via logging in via A dult F riend F inder is reduced by 50% vs logging in via passion.com or other portals. 2) Removal of Most Recent Comments by Others and removal of the Local Menu makes managing blogs very difficult. 3) If you are going to remove any blog tracking, remove "Most Recent Comments by (the blogger)" and reinstate Most Recent Comments by Others. xxxx Posts under a blogger's comment ID provides such tracking of a blogger's comment postings. Seems the design changes were made in the "back room" by those who have never used the site. IMHO  Come visit openagenda: provocative thought, adult discussions, sexy pics & giggles. Message to management...revert to the old design until you are able to properly develop a new design that has been fully tested by a large range of users, not just a chosen few. It is unbelievable that this design was signed off as an improvement. Sad!

The members who did test it gave a lot of their time and identified most of the issues months ago, nothing was done about it, so it was a complete waste of time, none of this is a surprise it was all fed back to the site. So much for "listening" huh !

from a strictly chatter point of view, AND someone thats been here since 96.... chat rooms are entirely too hard to get to now. and your friends network, good luck. why not just go back to what it was. least you guys didnt screw up alt.....or is that next??

Still here, still reading everything. And yes, I'm scared. Here are the things we're working on fixing right now: 1) Return most recent comments by others to your blog 2) Fix font size and style issues (currently it's just 12pt text for everything, will fix) 3) Clean up blog comment display so it's more readable 4) Fix profile "rather not say" in drugs and looking for View my blog won't be put back into the drop down because it's under the blog section, not a top level navigation. I don't like the new 2 step click either, so I have mine bookmarked in my browser.  Come on Ryan, it's nearly Thanksgiving, show some festive spirit and give us back the crappy old site that we liked rather than the super-crappy new one that we hate !!

Quoting this post because it articulates my thoughts exactly and needs to be bumped up on this thread. Post in a blog, you're gonna get answers about what bothers bloggers. There are a great deal more users/members outside of the blog community that are experiencing problems too (i.e. cammers, chatters, A/L'ers, regular folk just looking to hookup...)

If you can't do that, then at the very least tell us the real reason for screwing the site up so badly, since it's obvious that it was NOT done to make things better for members. So what financial benefits does Various expect to realize in exchange for making us all unhappy?

And why have the little boxes on the right where we can indicate our agreement with other posters' comments vanished? Are you that afraid of seeing our discontent graphically represented? Sheesh. . . .
