Why is Chat NOT in Community? Isn't a community social? Yeah, I can chat with somebody half way around the world and they're not in my "geographic" community. But, we chat none the less. We don't experience "Live Action", we experience "Community". The Blog community here is pretty "Live" too. It's very active. Are Blog's more of a "Sedentary" action? Like we're all sitting in chairs in a circle: "Hi my name is DiscreetlyHard1 and I Blog." as I hold my coffee. Am I supposed to be holding something else when I chat? I think the the menu is fairly ambiguous.

Same statement: I think the the menu is fairly ambiguous. Isn't "My Blog" in the "My Stuff" menu? Did you notice how many members still have the default "My Blog" title? Where is my blog? Oh, my blog is in Blogs under Community. Two click navigation. Did you consider your click through traffic patterns when designing menus? And why take away the box that tells me who left comments in my blog? I fear the day I have multiple pages of posts and miss comments by users. I may miss my "hook-up" on a post I made months ago unless I go back and read my entire blog at every visit. Did you consider making the site more useful to users when redesigning?

You just made this site even more less appealing...and with more "glitches" than I am sure you couldn't have possibly imagined... You thought that you would "make it easier" for folks to navigate this site by "grade school" antics...and I can only say....you will have one less "paying customer"....in a month....

The new format is terrible. Why mess with something that wasn't broken when there are so many other issues that need to be fixed on this site?

I so totally agree...this site is NOW Bland and Boring...aka...just No long visually stimulating...90 days...and counting to...."Standard membership"!!!

at first I thought there was something wrong, but now I know that it was changed. And it is terrible. You need to go back to the old design.

For a redesign to help new members, I think it fails to achieve that objective. It is harder to determine who is online and actually contact them. The link to email them is gone from the search page, encouraging winks and hotlist, which a large portion of women don't even check or respond to. The new hover balloon is very difficult to read, has the pictures in a featured position and with the text (ie what a member is actually interested in/looking for) relegated to the bottom of the box, and the link to the members blog is now missing. Nice try??? I agree Bland, boreing with way too much WHITE ! Everything is more difficult to find. Maybe they should have asked what we wanted to change?

 and  Yup considerable resources in terms of effort and expenditure have been devoted to something which is a retrograde step and virtually nobody likes with the net result of making members unhappy. Resouces which could have been better applied to making the site work properly, combatting fakes, and improving the incompetent Abuse and Customer Service departments so they actually do their jobs properly  Great job of pulling the wool over everyones eyes, you did it, you guys should try and get jobs with the current Regime in Washington, D.C. You'd fit right in. More bullshit requires more shoveling, more shoveling creates more jobs. Your on the right (LEFT) path.

As far as efficiency, the drop down windows are good, tidier look on the home page. From what I see most peoples complaints are simply the result of CHANGE.. most hate that worse than anything, but I think the navigation is actually clearer (after a day of rummaging around). Now that I've found how to log off, that's fine too... not that it won't take 3 hours to actually be gone like before... but we'll see. 1. The biggest real beefs seem to be the Bloggers not having a link to their blogs and latest responses in My Stuff... which I think is a valid and fixable complaint. 2. Then the esthetics, or lack thereof on the overall site and peoples personalization choices that they've lost on their profile page... which I think is unfortunate as it's a natural trait to want to be unique and not kitchen ware on a site that keeps wanting to put people in little boxes. 3. ... and the little question of all of us 'preferring not to say' on our drug use??? 'prefer not to say' on Affairlook means "I'm lying and I do"... you know like, I'm really married but prefer not to say so.  So are you guys all druggies or what?... because some of us ARE NOT.  But... lets see what today unveils.

Please put "blog" in the Blog spell check dictionary. [Ignore] and [Ignore All] is annoying. It actually suggests Bog.

Please put the "Read my Blog" link back in the hover profile pop up. Why remove that? Does a "Read my Blog" link really take up that much real estate? Reading a blog tells me more about a person than the boiler plate profile questions. Sure, there are open ended "Describe who you are and what you like/dislike" questions/fields. But, those are just the cover of the book. The real story is in the blog.

I made a post the other day when this first hit the blog board. but last night I made a new discovery. People I have blocked and who in returned blocked me can now see my profile and I, theirs. But you cant see their pictures. How if you give me the option to block someone from writing or seeing my profile let me keep that option. There is a guy who wrote me an email thinking I would hook up with his nasty ass and not know anything about him. I wrote him back turning him down and he wrote me back saying some really rude and nasty things. Before I could respond, the coward blocked me from telling him what I thought of his dumb ass. I in return went to my blocked list and added him. I could not read his profile at all. Now with this not needed upgrade I can read his profile and send email if I wanted to(not that I do) when I know I was blocked. Therefore, if I can see his profile then he can see mine and that is unacceptable. If someone blocks me or I, them I don't want to be able to see anything about them in the future. What is the point in using the blocking mechanism if its not going to work? If I get any rude and nasty emails from these clowns that I have already blocked, I am NOT going to be very happy. Why don't the team try to work on ways to get rid of those kinds of people from the site. Sure we all like sex but being harassed by someone you don't match, makes it electronic sexual harassment. If I could get paid for every time I get an email from someone I don't match or someone who thinks I should drop my panties for him just because he is here, I would be rich enough to buy this this website. Give us back our options and include better ones not a better format that wont give us nothing but new grief from the same idiots. Sorry for the long wind but my first post is way over on the next to the last page, but I got a feeling we wont be heard anyway. And my gold membership that keeps increasing strangely will be going back in my pocket along with a lot of other people. By the way, I have heard from people who are not bloggers but connect to this site with cell phones. I use an app so I can still log in with mine when I am on the go. But they have said they are thinking of deleting their profiles because of the changes. So there goes some more paying members. I am the real deal! "Come Get Me!!!"

When I update my blog header or add a post -- all the text on the blog turns bold and throws off the formatting. This seems unnecessary.

The same issues with pagination and centring - font sizes, ( this is written in 4 yet other comments written in size 4 seems to read at about a 2 in Firefox )... the 'who commented' box in blogs is STILL gone, left and right sides of the profile aren't padded - so the words run to photo and photo to words... Font sizes in the actual blog are standard ( a 2 ) now - when they are all set at a 4 minimum ... the rest of the blog is still formatted fine from what I see - but I don't table. Chat is still the same - from what I see - sizes are all balanced and functioning as it was... ~ [blog kelidgh]~ I am, indeed

Not to worry , you have made small changes before that have been accepted........NOW this major mess has definitely made me decide that when my expration date in January I DEFINITELY WILL NOT RENEW----PLEASE do not auto renew as you have done several times ! ! ! ! General money saving tip for people renewing paid membership..... do not use auto-renew, you get a better deal if you let your paid membership expire when you automatically revert to standard and then upgrade to your chosen premium status, as you then get the bonus month(s) free offer (as long as you comply with the simple conditions)

Hi Buxy. Passion is supposed to be changing over to new design week commencing 28th November. I agree with your comments, and I have no doubt that despite the overwhelming strength of feeling against it, we are stuck with the new design, members wishes seem to be a minor consideration here.
