Filters for Women  If you could put any filters onto search, flirt, cupid settings - what would you want? What filters would you like to have on who can reach you or who you want to see in search? The feeling over here is that with any new or updated product, we should start incorporating some of the ideas women have come to us with. My List So Far: 1) Filter for married men 2) Filter for men with no photo 3) Filter for men with penis pic as main profile pic 4) Filters by location (no one in X miles from my location can see me) What else? I'm focusing on women here, but I'd love to hear from Men, Couples, TS/TG/TV and Gay as well. What filters would you like to have on who can reach you or who you want to see in search? |

Some kind of 'double match' would be cool: showing what the person is looking - but not those he/she is not a match. Perhaps not the best explanation but it's way past mid-night in Europe... Meaning situations like: I'm looking guys around 35 to 55, not interested in younger men who might for their part be looking women without age limit. Would like to be invisible in their search, who's online etc. I'm looking for men, but no point in seeing gays. Already used to see the moldy cock pics but hate to see men with baseball bat in their ass  So for me male anal close ups are even worse than cock pics... I think adding a filter like this would be great. But on another note, when filling out the "what I'm looking for" on profiles, adding the option of "just here to blog" or "friends" would be great too. I know it's a different subject, but would also help with filters on searches too. Those that don't wish to be bothered with one phrase, thoughtless emails, and just want to blog, could be filtered out. If that makes sense? Filters I’d like to have when searching so I could screen people in or out or decide whether they can see me in their search or not: * Married or Prefer not to say in the marital status (don’t want to see those at all) * More than 2 ‘Prefer not to say’ responses (if they can’t take the time to fill out their profile, it’s a waste of my time) * Circumcised yes/no (Hey, that matters to some people!) * Recreational drug use (I don’t want to even see the profile) * The number of red Xs (I have found the stars don’t always give me a good idea of compatibility) * Specific red Xs (for example if someone has a red ex indicating I’m outside of their age range, if we’re close in age I might write anyway and see if how flexible they are. If they have a red X next to race or body type I wouldn’t even bother. I’d love to be able to screen that in or out up front. ) I’m also a big “Mee Too” for filters for married men, no pics, penis pics and filter by location as well as more options for” …and is interested in” (I’m tired of people saying that if you’re not looking for sex, you shouldn’t be here).

I would like to see an option for filtering IN bi-sexual or gay BY GENDER. I would be interested in seeing gay or bi-sexual women but only straight men.

I knew I'd forget one. The option of sending any messages that are less than 3 sentences to the "Filtered" file? I'm tired of opening up a message and all it says is, "Wanna Fuck?" or "I'm bigdikjohn12 at the Yippee place".

I'd still like to see the entire site filtered into two groups, those who are here for casual sex and those who are here for traditional dating. Make it so we sign up for one or the other (or both) right from the moment we create our profile. And then make it so that we can block or filter out all contact from profiles that are in the category we don't wish to communicate with. That way, you'd avoid the traditional daters receiving "wanna fuck" emails, and you'd avoid the sex-seekers wasting their time on people who don't do one-night stands. If I'm right, you'd also get more women signing up for the site.

I don't fuss much with the filters - since I don't search. BUT - I have narrowed my parameters to a near total incompatibility match to keep the 'mail' down. BUT - I find that it also filters those few people in my 'friends network' into the 'filtered mail' - when I would prefer to completely ignore the 'filtered' and not have to remember to look at it all the time. What about incorporating a subset of filters into the mail here - so that if you choose- the only mail you have to see is that from your 'network'. ~ [blog kelidgh]~ I am, indeed

In my opinion I think it's a good idea but I'd like to see it applied to the flirts as well. I feel it shouldn't be just limited to the women but should include the men as well. I'm tired of getting flirts from people that are in no way a match, or are here today and gone tomorrow. We have two lives, and the second begins when we realise we have only one - Confucious

Filters for flirts and hotlists should be able to eliminate showing those not desirable by distance. It doesn't need to stop them from flirting or hotlisting, but only prevent the recipient from seeing those that are outside of their personal designated areas. Of course you can stop those from sending them if unwanted, but then you have to explain why it won't go through with a message like "This member does not accept flirts from your area". Which means they might change their location to get a flirt through. Purpose defeated. Your "married man" should include all possibilities as some members don't want single or separated either. Just clarifying. Smoking/drinking/drugs are also definite deal breakers for some. The star match idea was good, but it never worked right. I think JT's idea of giving more options to how each member uses the site could save a lot of grief for some, but all members should be able to see that by either the pop up thing or maybe even if you aren't showing the profile to a standard member, you can still list what that member is looking for. Meh! Most don't read profiles anyway. LOL

I'm just waiting for the complaints to start rolling in~~ No one shows up when I do a search,,, I can see them all now. I am not saying there should be no filters. Several of the exsisting settings would be great~If they were fine tuned better~ One example~mileage from member. Don't fix what Isn't broken~Just make it Better... For "Milage from Member" You mean in Search, the # of miles you can select is: 5 20 50 75 100 The issue is that you want more options between 5 and 20 miles right? Really I have that in two parts~ 1~ I live very near a stateline I have to select everytime to bypass it.It would be great if it searched by mileage regardless of statelines.I guess the sane applies to international borders. 2~ the 5mile** is useless to me,Anything under 2o miles is great. My issue with how that breaks down.So few members are near me I have to extend my search to get a decent selection.The mileages there are way to far apart.1oomiles isn't enough to get a larger member selection,and 2oomiles adds members that hinder a search. (my suggestion for this~20/50/75/125/175~then from there as it is now) **~by mileage since it reads zip codes~even the 5mile range members live 10~15 actual miles away... I think a number of the suggestions already provided here are good. I'd also like to see one (or several) where X number of 'prefer not to say' are.....say 3 > or 5> And profiles that only have 1-2 sentences IF THAT and NONE of the other questions answered (or even just 3 < or 5 < answered). DO keep in mind if any of this (I mean the whole concept, not my individual suggestions here) come to fruition, the site will need to CLEARLY make sure members are aware that their answers or lack there of when completing their profiles may keep them out of certain search/filters for other members on the site. Hopefully members will take more time and thought in completing and possibly updating their profiles.

I love many of these ideas.. you know MY idea on the flirts filter!! I REALLY like the idea of being able to 'not show up' in searches if someone is not matching age/race/distance/marital status. I see sooooo many complaining on they are out of state/country or most definitely the 'they were married' complaint. FANTASTIC IDEA on having 'more' options such as "I am here to chat" or blog, or socialize as well as having LTR, FWB so people know that we are not all here just for quick one nighters. I would like to say that 'no matter what' you do, there is going to be complaints. My only thing here is that I am not here to show up on someone ELSES search so THEY are satisfied and I have to suffer with unwanted approaches. I know there are quite a few that agree... example if I don't want married men then the married men will complain no one is coming up in their searches if you remove ALL the women that don't want married men (yes, I am using an extreme I know it won't be all). But THEY will complain they have no one to hit on.. well is it worth hitting on someone that doesn't want your advances?? You are only breeding rejection. I know it is hard on the internet period!!! I AGREE that the mix of people here not 'looking for sex' and those 'not' looking for it causes backlash. I also am tired of emails saying "If you are not here to f*ck get out" or "why are you here if you are not looking for sex?" I should not be told what I have to do here nor should anyone, let alone should anyone have to explain this is NOT JUST a f*ck site as it isn't an online whorehouse warehouse for men to just choose women and women have no preferences. MANY seem to think it is. BOTTOM LINE.. nothing is going to please everyone, but I like that you are trying to make it more compatible for the ladies so we will WANT to be here.

How about a filter for the site content? Getting so sick and disgusted with almost every time signing into this site having to see on my home page of the Members Live Webcams 2 homosexual men fucking each other up the ass or sucking each others cocks. It really is quite disgusting and distasteful for us STRAIGT MALES to having to see that on our home pages. Filtered mail IS available to standard members. One clue to a FAKE is that they open their accounts with filtered emails. Why should they do that?? When they are trying to gather other members' IDs etc in the few hours before they're deleted!

As these different sites that make up the network~Each site draws in a different type of member.Many of the indivial sites linked to the network I would not join.Im not gay,lesbian,spanish just give a FEW examples,let me filter through the 'Various' sites. Please; Please; Pretty Please.. A filter for MilleyAshfordNNN would be so much appreciated by all of us who are plagued by 3 flirts a day from this spambot. (and her alter-egos like extremilley et al. She is such a crank that I suspect if her IP was blocked that she would get a new one or go to the local internet cafe  although blocking her IP would be a good start and worth a try.Anyway she is not to be confused with the bot generated fakes which flood the site on an industrial scale in an organised way and form the bulk of the problem that we have. There are ways to effectively combat these bots. I am not disagreeing with you, many people find Milley irritating, just pointing out the difference to the issue of large scale bots.

Filtering out people with no photos is huge for me, unanswered profile information, distance and cock shots as main pics are also great. I'd like more filters for sexual preference, bi, gay whether male or female since I'm a bi-female but only want straight men. How about a filter that keeps STUPID MEN from hotlisting/emailing/or just plain viewing Gay/Lesbian profiles. They can view all the Gay guys profiles they want BUT leave us Lesbians alone, WE ARE NOT INTERESTED in them AT ALL.
