Want to Check Out The New Site Design? Go here: http://beta.adultfriendfinder.com A new design of the site is up and ready for you to test drive. This design is mainly aimed at helping new members more easily navigate the site. Those of you in The Beta Test Group are already familiar with this design. Many of you have been helping with the design since May. I thought I'd post it here to give a wider audience a chance to check it out. The main changes with this design: 1) The navigation has changed to make it more manageable, especially for newer members. You'll find everything that has come before is still there, it just may have been moved into a dropdown. 2) All the pages on the site are now a uniform size (960). Problems you'll notice: 1) People who use HTML in Blog and Group posts may notice broken tables due to the new 960 width. 960 is smaller than the previous width, so if you are setting table widths by pixel lengths, it will be messed up. If you set widths by using =100%, it should be fine. What's the plan for this? Will the site eventually look like this? - Yes, it probably will look like this in the near future. Right now we are testing it with 10% of new registrants. We'll see how they do and tweak until we get it right. - This is still a beta test, so we'll be changing things based on feedback. No link to blings anywhere on the home page or tool bar Need link to member's blog in profile page Need bigger and more prominent link to My Blog Need more space under toolbar Need more space between comments in blogs. Quoting on some comments doesn't work No Recent comments made by others on my blog The table under the People who like this blog, also like needs to be readjusted, not in line with the other tables Still needs get rid of the Fast HTML beta in the chat room Doesn't work anyway. More cell padding needed in between blogs. Right now they all look cramped. No consistency with font sizes in the blogs, especially in the page you get redirected to after posting a new blog. Browse by location directs me to blogs in Japan. I'd still prefer to have a link to Blogs near me

I am one who has spent a great deal of time setting up my blog to look the way I want. I use pixel width and when I view my blog, it is a mess like you stated. Am I doomed to going back and revamping all my posts so that they appear like they do on the old site, or is there going to be a fix for this by the time the new site is standard?

In What's hot in the Home page, I'm seeing a plethora of boobies in the Hottest photos. I think I'd be in a different demographic? Looks like the redesign is geared towards dudes whose sole interests are to get laid or get self-gratification, so more focused on pics/vids/cams and the still unstable IMC. Like CWC says, the "hook up" is pretty demeaning from a woman's point of view. If the site condones disrespecting women, then how do you expect to get more women to join this site or stay after they join? I'm sure there are many who get disillusioned by the way they're treated by the clueless idiots and quit. The stateside overall ratio is 12:1, which isn't all that bad compared to other countries, but there's still potential to do better if your marketing and engineering team get their brains out of their pants, don't you think? At this point, it looks like the redesign was pushed forward without incorporating any of the ideas or suggestions made by people who actually navigate and use the site, so the end result is another half-baked, disappointing product.

Ok, Ryan; 1. Completely agree /support CougarwithClass - who came up with this brilliant idea anyway???? 2. The colors in my profile do not show at all (the same problem persists on the old site since the beginning of the year). Can somebody do something about it? 3. I was hopping that now with the new page I'll be able to use IM as I used to do before. Shockingly, I'm still unable to use the new IM - every time when try to get inside through IM, it is kicking me out to the home page asking me to sign again. This issue is persistent and side support wasn't able to fix it. OMG You can't do that! This site is a sexual based dating site and we all agreed/accepted to that when we signed up here. But there are men/women on here that are looking for LTR not soley based on just sex. So NO WAY! Sleezy!!!!! Awaiting you

Suggestion, Make the main page more appealing! Some cam shots are tacky. I love this site and agree its one of the best out there! Concentrate more on the homepage before you go messing around with other things. Don't fix it if it isn't broken. Fix the homepage and grab more attention and more potental clients! I'm back! Awaiting you

What is the possibility of us who enjoy the use of bling to wall paper our profile background to be put back for the new site design ???

All the fonts size are so small and not what I had set when I click on the blog topic and also my reply comment to check and read. But when I am look at my blog homepage, the blog topic all the size of the fonts appear as I had set.

Problem with link on the beta-----> Under tool bar I click on Community and not of those choice from the drop down. Lead me to Community homepage. On the top right where show 'Blogs', I click on 'My Blogs'. It don't goes to my blog homepage. That what I see when I click(HTML code of my homepage header). Look at the screen shot.

I've just made a post - with links and options ... I'll gather what I see there ... Right now - the worst things ( after the bling missing ) seems to be the resize of the pages did NOT encompass the programmers resizing the 'comment' and "where I'm quoted' boxes - since they all seem to ride into the thumbnail view of the person who made the comment. That should be a simple %% fix. The other is that links are not underlined but merely appear in the blue link colour. ~ [blog kelidgh]~ I am, indeed

Possibly off topic - but really curious - what is the purpose of the "forums" link - when they won't open in either Beta or Regular site..... is it actually utilized enough to keep - or can it be tossed in favour of actually making some viable additions? My "view by location" and "recently quoted" all work, but the lack of "recent comments by others" ON my blog is a really big miss. The home page for the blogs is still squishy - as it was when we first tested this. I can't even see my profile as others would - so that is just ridiculous - except, as mentioned before - when you all resized the pages you did just that. And no one thought to reframe the specced out sizes for text in the profiles that you all set. ~ [blog kelidgh]~ I am, indeed

Can the link to the name of my blog to be put back on my profile under 'My Blog'. It good to have if someone who never seen or know my blog, and their are at my profile, they click right on the link to my blog homepage instead of the one by one topic. Also, it a convenience for me to click and goes right to my blog homepage if I am checking on my own profile and need to goes next to my blog homepage. This is a screen shot of my profile showing only the 'My Blog' and the link to my blog name 'Cheri's Scrapbook' not using the beta. That would be great to put back.----->

While on Community page on the beta, What is the use of the button 'My Groups' as I click on it show none of the 10 groups I belong to. Look at the screen shot, you see I had clicked on my 'My Groups',and it don't show 10 of those groups I am in below just blank.----->

I test on checking on live webcam. I can open multi without problem. But when I try to rate on those that don't have any rating, I don't see my rating showing. That webcam of that member remain unrated. They are some that I open show the member webcam got rating but not sure when I click my rating for them is adding or not.

One last feedback for today---->When I click on my profile or another member profile and view,I test scroll the profile. What I come to the end or bottom normally, it don't stop, I can scroll down still. I see the repeat of the profile twice. Look at the screen shot of your profile which I took, in the middle of scrolling down the page you can see the slide on the right is in the middle where the voice feedback and support button is. You see a repeat of your profile or another other I test viewing on.---->

I saw similar last night - it is the coding for the "box top" of my blog. I'm not seeing it today ...  It was fine earlier - and now .. it's back. If I access the Community Main Page - and click onto My Blogs ( because I haven't any interest in the "most watched" ... I get the spillover of my header coding. And - forget having no groups in the "My groups" link .. it looks like it should link - but it doesn't even function And I think you can see by the overrun here - there needs to be a cellpadding increase in comment boxes  this is Community Main > Blogs > My Blogs on Main page ( NOT to be confused with going to Blog Main page [image] ~ [blog kelidgh]~ I am, indeed

On the regular site, there were no Most Recent Posts in Japan in the local blogs and no Actively Watched Blogs or Active Blogs by unique responses in the Blog Main page either, when I went to the blog pages. This was the same in Beta. Maybe it's a temporary glitch?

I thought I will not post again on this today. But just that I not forget, someone had written to me about how can they see if they got gifted bling on the new site design as it not on the beta homepage. I think the best page still be the homepage to show when one receive gifted bling. I don't see why it should be put in some corner which one would barely check on. It is just like receiving email, flirt, hotlist,views, friends invites, testimonials, call requests, points all on homepage left top corner. Why should receiving bling be put away or going to be on a different page?
