June 09 Suggestions Box I know we've kind of split out the features into other Blogs, but I still think there is space for a general suggestion box. You can use this space to get something off your chest, tell me what needs changing, or simply spit poetry. Dear "Ryan", Saw the film ... liked it and it brought up some seriously interesting questions about "unusual relationships" and maybe how not to deal with ... I don't like the "writing ideas" for profiles. It's too easy for fakes to throw together a copy and paste profile and it makes the real profiles all look the same. I'd rather see it changed to loose guidelines that can't be copy and pasted or gotten rid of altogether. I'd rather see a poorly written profile in someone's own words that a phony copy and paste job.

Ryan. sighs... I have a complaint. I came back on the site tonight and every time I hit my home page, a sister site overlaying my home page. Seriously, I've only had it happen the 3 times I've hit my home page and I'm already ticked off! BAD! Very bad!!! Please tell me it's a glitch and not really meant to be there? Please????

Let me check nascar. There should be a banner, but I don't know about something overlaying the whole page. Btw, they should warn you that if you click that banner, they are going to upload your info into a profile there. I clicked just to see what it said and it informed me I was uploaded. I don't want to join it, Ryan. At least not now. Can you do something about that? I'm afraid if I complete the survey, I'll be stuck there. Speaking of which, I understand all about the different portals to get into this site, but do I really have to be listed under the lesbian one? I'm not a lesbian, bi-sexual or bi-curious. Why does my profile have to be on that one?

incorporating an instant individual (not group chat room type) chat msgr like what can be found in gmail or yahoo mail these days... not email style where there's a lag... that way, there's no need for members to even exchange personal email address or other ids and chat elsewhere...

I am not new to the site--but--am new to the Community and Affairlook Focus group---as a Mod--I have enough to learn in re the settings--etc. of a room---The behind the scenes stuff...However as a member--I have encountered some issues along the way. I know this isn't the right spot--perhaps, but bear with me and if need be--steer me in the right direction, anyone. Any thoughts or assistance would be appreciated immensely. So here goes... 1. As a standard--I get 10 replies a day--I can live with that; only thing is I can send a profile photo in mail--but nothing attached from a file saved on pc...What is the problem and how to fix it?? 2. Blocking of members...Already posted on that--but is imperative the site work on this one. In real time I keep those I don't want around using various methods--here though--I can only block members partially...I want the ability--as I know many others do--to be able to block them site wide. 3. When updating Main Page of room---why can't the space to do it in be enlarged--Is a pain to try to write and review...Also, how about the features---I type--then have to Bold, Color, etc...each individual paragraph. Do you know a better way to do this?? 4. As time goes by I may recall more things--I don't mean to sound like a whiner---"whaaaaa"--but I am wishing to get the best info and suggestions for myself and for my room. Thanks for reading and again--if I am in wrong spot--just tell me where to go---lol

Dammit she's right!!! Those of us who aren't looking for the nameless faceless fucks and don't show this type of image on our profile shouldn't be subjected to it. It's bad enough the general mentality is that every one is here for the fuck and only the fuck. These images and banner suggest that we are if our profile is viewed. Worse because you know most don't read the profile. So these images will promote us in a way we don't want to be promoted. Please! Get it off!!

Ryan, I just wrote this elsewhere, but I'll put it in here too: I have a suggestion that would make a big difference to my life on this site. I'd *love* to be able to use accents, umlauts, tildas, upside down question marks and other hallmarks of other languages when I'm in chat. This is the world wide web, not everyone who wanders into an "English" chat room is a native English speaker, and it would be lovely to be able to speak Spanish properly in the rooms (for me, and I'm sure, other languages for other people). I just reviewed my member preferences and don't see that listed anymore. Did the site take this away and why if they did? If I am overlooking it, please redirect me. I would like to see an option in the membership packages that would be a "lifetime of the site" membership. I know of some other websites of this nature that do offer a "lifetime" membership and would like to see it offered here too.

When you open a mail in the inbox to read it, the bottom of it should look like this: [image] Hit the reply and the form opens further down and you should be able to type a message back to the person. You seriously never did this before? If you don't have a reply button, then something is wrong. I hope the image shows for you.

*When I was a gold member I found it very annoying to do a search and see a vast number of members in my local area that have not been active in over 3 months and thier profiles still being counted as active. Yes they have not turned off the profile but the site should change the status of the profile to inactive to clear up the search results pages making it easier to find someone active and local. *Just as a side note. I am not going to upgrade again since the last time I used my credit card to upgrade the site took my real world name and posted it across the entire site where ever my profile picture and username showed up. The issue was cleared up however it has left a bad taste in my mouth and has left it so, that as a former 2 year gold member, I will not upgrade again.
