The Suggestion Box - April 2009 Hope April is treating you well so far. Do they say "April showers bring May flowers" in England? Do you do taxes in England in April? OK, so bugs and features. I know you want the bugs fixed and no new features, but the new features tie into things you've been asking for. Some features I'm working on: - An expanded blocking feature - A list of all the people following your Blog - A simple tool for Groups to create and track Events (think Evite-light) - Page numbers in Groups will be put back on the top AND the bottom - Fixing it so that changing your signature won't put your whole profile into "Pending" Bugs (not the full list, but the ones I'm pushing the hardest) Blogs - Watched Blogs list doesn't show date of last post - Watched Blogs is only showing one page - Editing often causes a post to be showing as member deleted when it was not. - Post goes live, gets 2 views & then disappears. - Fixing CSS table width issue - Editing a post often does not update the post. - Watched Blog Post list will only show 1 post per user name - The vote to a poll is slow to post Search - SOME handles in the hotlist/flirt/view AND the IM are unreadable because the "Online Now" or "Chatting Now"! shows as a shadow on top of the handle - Members showing online when they are not Groups - Post a poll is gone from Group home page - When the group chat is active doesn't show when there are people chatting or shows someone in there when they are not Message Center - Showing there are un-read e-mails in the counter when they've already been opened - Automatic signature takes points for sending flowers - When deleting e-mails, you can use the top delete button only the once Chat/Flash Chat/IMC (not the full list, great changes are coming) - Flash chat stops updating - IM timeouts - Members are shown to be on IMC if they are in chat only - Flash chat boots people out - If you switch from HTML to Flash, the members previous comments repost all at once, dominating the room screen. - When sending an IM to another member even if they have IMC open messages do not go through Keep the suggestions coming!  |

I just tried to post a smilie in response to someone's comment and it was not approved due to "banned topic". Is that to try to stop the bots? If so, I can live with that. Good job. It's not getting what you want...it's wanting what you've got. [post 1934719]

 This takes the 'member online' listed on the search heading further~~~ 'Last Visit' IS NEVER Correct... I've asked about this since becoming a member. I have actually traded mail with members that would show as a 'Last visit ~ more than three months' Affairlook Parody Of a Real Sex Site

Please add the "All Rooms" link to the chat rooms so that we don't have to constantly go back to the main chat page, then the room list page before entering a room if using HTML. I'm still having trouble with my ASCii codes. I saw the one I left for you finally coded, but when I preview a post, it still just shows the coding and not the actual results. Is it kicking in at some point down the road? I really don't want to use the ASCii until I know what to expect.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!! Ryan, I know you are busting your butt over there. If there is ANY way I can help out, just let me know. I will say you have actually given me some hope and I have started actually posting again. For a while it was like no one gave a crap so why should I? I am just sending ya kudos!

If the site is so against personal contact info posted publicly on boards or filtering emails until 2 email exchanges between members. Then why is it that members have the ability to place personal contact info in members testimonials. I have noticed many of female profiles with males leaving testimonials from viewing a female profile to posting IM addresses, Email addresses and even phone numbers. Shouldn't there be a filter on the testimonials submitted too to denying that?

Here is idea... How about letting members see what member has placed a vote on their photo. I am always curious as to knowing what member voted on one of my 20 photos.

I don't see this If you switch from HTML to Flash, the members previous comments repost all at once, dominating the room screen as a problem. It lets us aware-type-people know when someone is about to sneaky and send a private message! AND THE WINNER IS ~~~~ [post 2692868]

Here is a question? Seeing other blog posts i decided to work out just how much We are being ripped off.keeping our same profile for years..It is cheaper for myself NOT to renew both my gold accounts. The reason being..if i take 6 months gold out on 2 new profiles it will only cost me £7.11.per month on each account= £14.22 per month but if we renew both accounts monthly it will cost me £16.46 on each account.there for costing me £32.94. Over a year there is a diffrence of..£18.72 a month..which costs all gold members £112.32 extra per year to keep there same user handle.. Why is this the case as paying members should we not be given a discount on renewing our memberships.. This works out for myself at £224.64..a year.. Ryan go get them.. tell them to sort this out...

Not sure if this has been suggested yet, but I think if a profile has not been signed on for a month, it should go into automatic inactivity. It should no longer show up in search engines on the site. This can make searching more efficientThe only way it can be reactivated is through a link in that profile owner's email. Also, if that profile should remain inactive for more than three months, it should be deleted all together. That way if a great profile name is wasting away, a new comer has a chance at snatching it up.

Hello Ryan. I understand this is a suggestion box. But I got a question to ask and maybe you would be able to answer me better then through Site support blog. When some one was being blocked. It showed IP blocked. Does that mean if this member create another profile through the same IP, could that other account also get blocked? Just wondering.

why is it when i "report for abuse" a camgirl soliciting a web site, they never go away? same thing with a man posting as a female? plus sooo many testimonials and flirts are from people soliciting for web sites, they get reported too, but once again nothing happens. maybe to slow down some of the flirt/testimonial abuse maybe flirts and testimonials could only be allowed from an actual profile page. most of the phoney flirts i get are from profiles that have never actually viewed my profile page. what do you do when a profile is "pending review" it takes forever when i update mine to get the functions back email etc..., yet there are many supposed "woman" profiles that state specifically that they will only play if their husband participates, shouldnt they be a couple profile, and why is this not noticed when it is pending review? these get reported, but again they NEVER go away. so once again, what is actually reviewed? anything, or do you just have a lag time to make it look like something is done?

yall should have one free day a month to keep all members interested. Ive been a memeber since 94, have paid off and on. but it would be nice to just havea free day online with all the friends!

Hello Ryan, I just posted a new blog topic. I then want to go and edit. But when I go click 'Edit post' I got the log into Affairlook pages. Weird. I decided to click to go back to the previous page. Just thought I post and let you know. Maybe it just a temporary glitch. Thanks for reading.

It's ridiculous to change a sticky note on a blog post and have it up for review. What's to review? You shouldn't have to "edit" for a sticky note, to hide it, to unhide it or to delete it.
