Thinking.....

Here lately I have just been posting jokes and things that other people have sent me. While I am at work I think of things that I want to post and get other people's opinions about but by the time I get home I am so mentally exhausted I dont really want to tackle a blog. Tonight I am tired both mentally and physically so hopefully I will sleep all night instead of waking up at 3 in the morning. It gets kind of old. Tonight I accomplished a lot outside but still have a bit to go. Mowed the grass and cleaned one flower bed out. Still have a few more to go, but as usual it takes time.

I quess my question is how to you cope when you are not able to sleep and what do you do to get over it?

I cannot help you with the sleep part because I need very little but when something gets on my mind and I want to fall away, A good stiff drink and a bubble bath and my body is ready to sack out. Always find time to rest-the lawn can wait thirty minutes while you catch a little snooze. Sometimes, I will catch a nap in my truck for twenty minutes and feel great-I'm self employed but if your not, take your lunch and just rest-literally.

Everyday breathing is a good day.

Dang I hate that, had quite a bit of it before. Unfortunately living in an apartment ( and being a polite neighbor ) its not like I could catch up on laundry or anything like that. Thank goodness for stations like nick at night so there is more on tv at 3 am than infomercials. Think my problems sleeping were stress related ( work, money, the usual ). I do sleep better since I don't work at that place anymore. On the bright side I did receive a few intriguing offers for "stress relief" to help me sleep. So how about you, are you stressed?

Wish I could give you some advice. In better days... I'd just wake up my boyfriend and get a little naughty, and exhausted... now all I roll over to is a pillow. Nothing too stimulating there. I like having a fan on... I think the "white noise" soothes me a bit. Good luck Mickey... hope to see you at the meet and greet this weekend!!!!

Yes I have received a few interesting offers, but havent taken anyone up on them. I quess a lot of my problems is with my job. I am short a person in my office for billing so I have to take up the slack and put in a few more hours then normal. Averaging about 16 hours of overtime every 2 weeks, and still not getting caught up. Keep thinking only about 5 more weeks and my other person will be back. LOL

Hope everyone has a great day!!!

I use to drink a glass of warm milk. Now, I'm so use to getting around 4-5 hours of sleep, it doesn't phase me anymore.
Lately, when I can't sleep, I get up and do some of my homework. Sometimes it puts me to sleep and other times I'm awake when it's time to get my kids out of bed to get ready for school. It's a catch 22 I guess.
