Slow Hand

I had a wonderful friend who very beautifully told me that there was something special in my touch. I was naturally curious but it was hard for her to put into words. It was a combination of tenderness and passion, a choreography with body and lips, an intuition that magically knew just where and how she loved to be touched.

As a of the seventies before cable television I struggled to learn about the art of passion from so many different sources. Mom’s Cosmos were easier to find than Dad’s Playboys and, in hindsight, provided much better education for an aspiring lover. It probably sounds very cheesy but music also included subtle hints about the art of pleasure. To a young man eager to learn everything he could about pleasing a woman, the Pointer Sisters song “Slow Hand” provided a musical insight into how a woman longed to be touched.

I want a man with a slow hand
I want a lover with an easy touch
I want somebody who will spend some time
Not come and go in a heated rush
I want somebody who will understand
When it comes to love I want a slow hand

I have no idea what women see in men but to touch a woman, to feel the warm soft suppleness of her skin against the tips of my fingers is like heaven. Sensing her body's reactions to my hands as they wander in search of those special places where my touch will totally drive her wild. Ultimate pleasure isn’t as about where she’s touched but more when she’s touched and how she’s touched.

If I want it all night, please say it's alright
It's not a fast move but a slow groove
On my mind

I’m in no way discounting those very special times when frenzied passion just happens but I truly love the times where you get lost in a slow simmer that carries you away for hours.

We are drifting free, like two lost leaves
On the crazy wind of the night

The beauty of getting lost in someone special. How do you like to be touched?

It was a country song first by Conway Twitty.... but dang those slow hands are hard to find.......

there are too many 'fast fucks' and 'one n done's' here .

But that being said, there are also wonderfully intense playful sexual beings . And while some people are more wired one way than another, I think there are times when I am just as much like the voracious cougar seeking her prey.

Have a good night my riend.

A few years ago, a special friend introduced me to his gentle touch. Before that almost all men were rather rough. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy that also when the time is right. But, my friend could caress me with such a soft touch that left my eyes rolling to the back of my head, my body writhing and shaking, oh gosh, and my moaning...stopping only when his kisses added more fuel to the fire. The caressing wasn't even to anywhere sexual, just my tummy, side, legs, anywhere he could reach. He loved to kiss and caress for hours, bringing me to new heights and then bring me down, just to reignite the fire. I miss it.

I love the Pointer sisters song you mention above. I fall into some daydream whenever I hear it.

You are a rare breed that can recognize the small nuances that really mean so much. At least to me.
You're very right, the beauty of sexual intimacy is that it is undefined and can take many forms. At times you need to battle back the passion that is trying to over take both of you. Sometimes it is not possible but when you can savor it, in the wonderful moments where less becomes so much more, it can be very magical.

That's a great observation. In the 70's we thought we were so much racier than those from the milk toast 50's but it looks very benign through the mirror. Your observation also reminds me I need to have a talk with my son.
