Ill Fit Clothes
Ill Fit Clothes Ill fit clothes in my closet, hang, reminding me I was once 40 pounds less And now I'm round from stress, and just a bit of over-eating, but I love tastes. I love cakes, gourmet. And lobster. Hell, I even love greens. And it seems I only keep these ill fit clothes in my closet as a reminder of what I ought to be. Better yet what I'm thought to be by societal eyes, to be comfortable in mine own skin. My only sin is believing that beauty is reserved for single digit sizes. Reprises of popular notions are my thighs, my hips, my gut my bust, my dimpled knees and elbows In stilettos, a teddy, garter and hose; just as sexy as any size two And even if I've cried a few tears over the injustice of clothing racks I'm still putting these clothes in sacks and taking them to the good will. And the good feel of that notion let's me know it's right. |
