Yes I am doing some remodeling, of my daughters bedroom and the lobby outside. She is expecting in 8 weeks so trying to do more than just a lick of paint for the expectant mother. She had loads of input, and I had the paint brush, timber, nails and hammer, sand paper and ladder... lol. Nice to see you Cherimore.

Blue is the colour Football is the Game Winning the All Ireland That's our aim. I actually saw the Mayo team heading home on Monday and felt sorry for them - loosing by a single point - and worse still the decision to go for a point with 42 seconds left on the clock.

LOL.. I enjoyed it too... Secretly I am a DIY fanatic - I may complain but I would not have it any other way. There is great satisfaction seeing the outcome of one's work I think - and for all the flaws there is only me to blame.

The problem with decorating and renovating is that it exposes and shows up the other parts that need to be done... so have more work, not less, left - and the list is growing...lol. Looks like lots of trips to the paint shop over the next few weeks - and the girls have a deadline - cause my younger one is organising a baby-shower party in a few weeks time.

I liked that one. It seems as though the renovations never end. When we bought this house last year we had 3 very clear projects...that have now morphed into 5 very clear projects. LOL One day...one day it will be done and I can enjoy the pool.

Thank you Pearl, I will take care, I learned when I fell off a ladder last year... lol.. nothing serious just stepped off the wrong way. Am sure the site will survive and maybe even be a better place - but I have no comment to make on texting from the toilet place.

LOL...very funny. About time someone in Ireland put up a post....I was beginning to think that we had all given up. Just remember all work and no play makes Jack (Gerk) a dull boy lol!!! I take it the renovations all follow on from the nesting post lol....anyone would think you were having the baby! The nesting has cleaned out space that then needed a lick of paint and more - and them other things look jaded or faded and have to be spruced up a bit... hope it does not spread too much!
