No doubt. . .There are actually 3 people. 2 of whom, I never really knew, and one who I never knew well enough. I would love to meet my grandfather, on my father's side. He was an aeronautical engineer for Lockheed, and I THINK he was part of the design team that created the SR-71 Blackbird (I am not 100% sure of the truth in that statement about the Blackbird--it could have been some BS my dad sputed at some time). . .I would love to talk with him and thank him. . I am quite sure I inherited his abilities with numbers (thus the math degree I have). And of course, I would love to meet my grandmother (on dad's side) again. I never knew her well enough, but my memories are of a wonderful, lively, sweet woman. I sometimes think that my dad must have been adopted. . I cannot believe that such a shithead bastard could come from her. . (Unless that previously mentioned granddad was a shit also) And third, I would love to meet my great-granddad (mom's dad's dad). I don't remember him at all, for he died when I was like 2 years old. (But I did see his ghost once). All the stories my mom, aunts, and uncles have ever told about him, though make me really wish I had gotten to know him--appearantly, he was a hell of a wiseass, and would gladly tell a joke at any time. . .gotta love a guy with a sense of humor!! God, I sound like a friggin Hallmark card here, I better shut up before you start thinking I am some sappy mush man.

Sassy, I hope he comes to see you soon. It's hard when you have such a strong connection with someone, but physically they can't be there at that time to hold you. I think the holidays are the hardest for most people. Best wishes to you this holiday season and good luck with your finals.
