Black Friday.....
Today is Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving known in the retail one of the craziest days of the year.

I had a friend ask me yesterday, "Why is it called Black Friday? Is it because it causes so much panic and mayhem at the stores?"

NO!

In case for the many that do not know, I'll give you a taste of my Business Management Degree.....

It's Called Black Friday because..... We all know the term "Going into the red" financially..... It means that your under, not making profit, you're in the hole.... Going into the Black means you're making profit, you're going over your expected profits.

98% of all retail stores create sales on today to generate profits that make up for and exceed profits for the year if not for the 4th Quarter of sales.

So just in case you were wondering, or you have never worked in retail and never had it explained to you..... there you go.

The way one of my Business Professors explained it was..... You know the Calculators that have the ribbon paper on it, and when there is a negative number, it types it in red, and when it's positive it types it in black..... Going into the red is bad, going into the black is good.
