Shold we take offense?

I just saw the funniest thing. Has anyone ever seen the movie "Because I said so?" I loved how they had Affairlook on there as the unsightly porn site. It was worth a good laugh.

Is this an unsightly porn site. Gosh golly I hope not. I'd never be caught on a sex site, lol. But seriously, Does anyone really consider this unsightly or porn? I'll admit that it's not exactly the beaten path when it comes to dating, online or otherwise, but is it that bad.

The more I write, I actually begin to question it. Would you tell your parents you met someone here? Would you check your messages at work? Are you publicly proud or ashamed of your membership?

I don't think I'm ashamed. I wouldn't volunteer the info, but I wouldn't hide it I don't think. And, no, I don't think I'd like to explain the main page if my boss walked up behind me, lol.
Or...I might just be full of shit

 I'm not shy about life and love and sex in general. The Mr. and I never had a monogamous relationship to start with so no hang-ups there. But when I signed on I lived in the smallest town imaginable and I was very, very quiet about it. Then I moved to the big city and started socializing with the peeps I met on here and things just kinda took off. Wouldn't give it up for love nor $!!

There are not nearly enough people online in baton rouge. Most of the fun groups tend to be older people too. It sucks cause I'm too old to do the college thing (young people can just get on your nerves sometimes with their stupid comments, lol) and not old enough to hang out with other crowds. BR is one of those places, it seems, that doesn't have a middle age crowd. Or if so I am a loser and have no idea where to find it. I think for now I may passively look and cling to the first thought though.

I don't know if I'm shy so much as physically unexperienced. I guess I'm just not as comfortable in my skin yet with everyone right off the bat. My mind kinda flows easily with people, but I guess I'm just not as comfortable with my body so to speak. I've actually don't mind being close to people. I think I kinda passively give off this vibe that I'm not comfortable or used to it though.

Or.... I just think to fucking much, lol

 LOL- this is too funny!! I saw "Because I said So" and came home to check out what Affairlook actually was! Now I'm hooked and totally unabashed. And most of my friends are already on here, and a few of my co-workers too.

That is awesome and funny. I wish I knew more fun people like that. My job is a little too professional for me sometimes. I love it, but the people can be a bit stuffy on occasion. You seem like you already had the lifestyle going before you signed on. I'm pushing the cart up hill to get there. I don't know nearly enough people outside of work and I've always been a hair slow at opening up to meet people like those around here out in the real world.

I work from home... it's MY computer and MY connection. If my boss doesn't like it then tough noogies.
