U-Turn

Ok so yesterday I was telling you I was heading down to Texas to visit my best friend for Christmas. I got a call 2 hours or so into my drive down Illinois from my brother called. My father the Ever Ready bunny had an 11th heart attack yesterday. So I promptly turn around and start heading for Detroit.

My friend and I figured a way for me to bypass what I had just driven to miss Chicago and most of Indiana via I-94 coming out near South Bend. I got there some seven and a half hours later.

My father is going to make it (again) and I will be heading back home to Chicago on Friday after Christmas. He will spend seven to ten days in the hospital and then be sent back home again.I will call on him everyday after that until I feel he is out of the woods again.

 I haven't been around too much lately so I've just popped by. I hope your dad is doing really well by now. 11 heart attacks! How does he manage?
