Mosquitos

Grr! I hate those guys. No. It's more than that. Much more than mere hatred. I want them ALL eradicated. Down to the last itty bitty biting blood sucking bastard one of em.

Would Mother Nature miss her mosquitos, I wonder? Could the cycle of life be fatally disrupted if all the mosquitos were kaput? I hope not. I'm thinking that all the mosquito eaters out there could find something else to consume. If not, fuck em. Let's kill all the damn motherless mosquitos on earth and da heck with the consequences!

(We're all humans here, right? Trying to control Nature is in our nature.)

So who's with me?

Oh, and for any of you mosquito lovers who may be reading this, I'm warning you. I will spare no mosquito that flies in my path. Not one. Your pleas for mercy shall fall on deaf ears, and I can only pray that they shall suffer even as I have suffered. Amen.

Ahh, nothing like a good vent to ease the #%&&@#! itching...

Well, so far I have been spared from the worst diseases that they help spread. Malaria. West Nile virus and others.

boy, ya ain't right

funny as hell, even cute, but not 'right', yanno

did remind me driving 'over the border' {in to canada} and sailing, during a weekend that evidently the little FLY bastards that live UNDER the water {they hatch from there every so many years or something} come UP and look for {only} human blood; how the hell that works when they hatch in the middle of that damn big lake {one of the Great Lakes} dunno, but I tore up several rolled up newspapers beating those bastards to death, and still more were BITING, little bastards

loved the water, loved the boat, hated those bastards with a passion

Frogs would probably miss them.

I remember once when I crossed the border from MN into WI in the summer and stopped right by the Mississippi river to have a nice, relaxing piss by the riverside. Damn if my privates and any other exposed areas weren't immediately attacked by mosquitos!

Then once I pulled over in the night on the road from Montreal to Toronto to take a nice, relaxing dump out in the open next to a roadside lake. The night sky was lit by firefly but as I shat it seemed that some sort of mystery insects were landing on my hindquarters. Once I got to Toronto I checked out my behind and it looked like a pepperoni pizza! It was absolutely covered in mosquito bites!

So I think I sort of know where you're coming from.

Not so sure about this one there buddy. Please be careful.

You know the Univ. of FL tried this with their little "Love Bug" experiment. They thought that these little lab engineered bugs would eat the mosquito's and also provide food for the animals that normally eat them... fish primarily.

They are now trying to get rid of the Love Bugs. They are a nuisance. Since the little critters only mate once and die, UF is releasing sterile love bugs in the hope that they will mate with the fertile ones canceling out the propagation of the species.

Unfortunately, mosquito's are still here! Man rarely ever comes up with a solution that does not disrupt the balance of nature. Other examples abound.
