Classic Comments #13 The Venting Blog Presents: Classic Comments The main thing that keeps me in BlogLand is the interaction with other bloggers that occurs in the comment areas of our posts. I thrive on the banter between bloggers that is to be found there. I knew when I left my original comment in the blog of the irrepressible [blog Ready_11] (who will always be ReadyToLay to me - and which will become evident if you read on...), that it would be brought back for this series. What I didn't expect was the conversation that followed over the next several days. As a result, I have decided to include that running conversation in this post. Still, my main motivation for including it in this series was the fact that I, keithcancook, was able to soften the irascible, hotheaded Ready, and cause her to forget her anger. With that said, let us go back to September 23, 2007 where we find the lovable Ready all wound up over the shitty service we receive from our friends at Affairlook... Her post [post 1058268] begins:

That was pretty much it until I went back two months later (yes, I cannot desist from basement blogging - it's in my blood I believe...) and found another blogger jumping in on the action...
BlogLand sure can be a lot of fun if you have the right attitude! Plus it helps if you return to posts where you commented to continue the fun... blog on, everyone! I always go back, sometimes more than once, to see what type of response {if any} there is; sometimes when there's a comment I comment on that comment back. It's close to a conversation, just a bit of lag time.

I say, I was there { I am such a voyeur and yes, I have seen you peaking through my basement windows, Keith.  Yes, I saw such philandering. Neither one of you noticed when the Oracle got bored and left... I think it was just before the third cigarette... one for each of us. Its not the first threesome I've been... uhm... clears throat... I meant seen at Ready's. I had one with Cactus Ass, Glef... wait that was four... never mind. Wait both were foursomes if you count Le Vouyer.  Agent OralCall4U2 signing out.  Requiem  [blog Brit_Bints] Who are they?

I love the bloggy basement too! The best part of the who;e blogging experience is the comments for sure! There are some pretty witty, sharp people wandering around here.....  Pull My Fucking Hair!

Ha ha! CHIEF! The "old days" are "these" days as far as I am concerned. I have never changed my attitude in all the long years of blogging here. The concept of "BlogLand" is what I make it, and ever it will be so. Others of course have their own conceptual ideas... blog on!

If gaining entry to your panties were as easy as jumping down your basement then we would have long ago been rolling in each others arms. Alas! Ah yes, I too recall visiting there. I hope you and the kids are doing well. As for me, I did as I often do, and stepped away from the computer to read some books, spend time outdoors, and generally just give being online a rest. Now I am entering another "spend my free time at the puter" phase. I cannot say how long it will last, but I am certain that I will step away for long spells again in the future. Even so, I will always maintain my ties to BlogLand. Plus, it's nice to be welcomed back by all my friends here. I reckon I'm a glutton for it as many times as it has occurred.  blog on, everybody!

Aw L'Ooie, I'm sorry about your basement. I really am.  Also, in BlogLand I suppose I am a Pollyanna person. BlogLand is where I play. I do not wish to play in a negative environment. So I make it positive in spite of any naysayers. If need be, I'm intelligent enough to tackle hard issues or situations that may develop in the blogs, but I choose to avoid them for the most part. This method, mode, path, way, whatever - has worked very well for me, and made my experience here enjoyable. You have touched on an interesting topic here. Perhaps I will explore this more in a future post... POLLYANNA BLOGGERS - UNITE!  blog on, dear one...
