I spent the fourth of July relaxing and listening to music...and crying. I actually cried for my ex last night. First time in a while. 3 and a half years later and I still miss her. I still have arguments with her in my mind. I still miss holding her. I miss her smell and looking in her eyes.
I don't know what to do. I help counsel people all the time on their relationships and lives, but I have no clue what I would say about this situation.
"Let her go. Get her out of your head." Yeah, that's working.
"Move on to someone else." Hasn't helped so far.
"Talk to her. Tell her how you feel." ????
How do you tell the woman of your dreams, the woman who left you and took your heart with her that you love her still? That eating, sleeping and breathing just don't compare to being with her?

I was just listening to Sara McLaughlin and Justin T and it was making me think of my ex. Not the kinda mood I would like music to put me in.
It did make me remember being a young adult. People used to talk about playing Prince (International Lover), Marvin Gaye (Sexual Healing) or Barry White (just about anything) to get a woman into the mood.

Okay, I've come to a realization. I have never liked the idea of cheating. If you're not getting what you need at home, why are you there?
The realization is that, if ever I was to cheat, it would be to get some good booty sex. I do miss it. I miss good, loud, sweaty sex. I get sex, but I don't get a chance at a good fuck very often.

I have read many, many posts from women who say they enjoy anal, at least occasionally. I have been with women who enjoy anal sex at first (and have powerful orgasms), but are so sore afterwords that they become afraid of it.

I was conversing with my best friend. She's trying to get laid and we were discussing how she could fit that into her busy schedule (sound familiar anyone?).
After we parted, I got to thinking...women have it way easier than men. Hear me out before you cuss me out ladies.
It seems (maybe just cause I'm a man) that men have more pitfalls to avoid. For a woman, the only real concern is being rejected (or coming off as a complete idiot/slut/nerd). Men also have to deal with being taken seriously, not getting sued for sexual harassment (work), not scaring away the only good female friends we may have. If we are trying to get intimate with a woman we don't know yet, there is the peril of approach. Come on too strong to the wrong woman, you get slapped, have a drink thrown in your face or arrested. Take it too slowly and she ends up with someone else or "just friends!" Some women want to bang the bad boy and marry the nice guy. Unfortunately, those women hardly admit that to themselves, so how the hell are we supposed to figure it out? 
For a woman, it is fairly easy. Women don't seem to understand how easy it is. If a woman just goes up to a guy she likes/thinks is cute/wants to jump and says what she wants, she will likely get it.
Ladies, try this out sometime. Go up to a guy you think is hot and tell him so. "Are you as nice as you are good looking?" If he turns you down, it won't be harsh (he's probably gay  ). Most guys don't hear shit like that and he'll talk to you. If you think it's going well, ask him back to his place (if he makes a lame excuse, he's married). Once you've showered and dressed, tell him if you thought it was good enough for another hookup  . If not, tell him it was a one time thing and don't bother trying to contact you. Either way, he'll feel pretty damn lucky!
But that just don't work for us guys (most of the time). Am I wrong ladies?
