Peekaboo!

I feel like I have been caught in the eye of a tornado the last few days.

We had the funeral Monday, which turned out to be a nice event. Definitely a celebration of the life of a really wonderful woman. Like the good Catholics we are, we had a huge luncheon reception at a restaurant, and then headed to my friend's place for the post-reception reception. Lots of alcohol consumed, and a good time had by all.

I spent the good part of yesterday catching up with work, which is insanely busy right now. When I got home late, I could hardly keep my eyes open, so I crashed by 10:30 last night - very unlike me!

Up early this morning, and looking at another very full day. In the midst of working today, I will put out a frantic effort to prepare for Christmas. Why I do this every year just boggles my mind.

Under the category of "When it rains it pours", a very good friend had a bicycling accident Sunday afternoon. He was air-lifted to a hospital with six broken ribs and a collapsed lung. He's fine, but in severe pain.

I'm not feeling very humorous today (although, I am in a great mood), so I'll have to touch base with Thalia and have her channel some energy my way.

I hope everyone is well!

I wondered where you had got to. Lots of time for you to get hopelessly drunk at Christmas Iam sure.

At least you sound sane.

Geez...you are getting hit with a stick repeatedly these days!

Glad we got to catch up this AM...before I had to run.

Don't feel bad, I haven't started my shopping either...Target here I come!
