Bad news - turns out women want to be judged by their appearance "Which is worse , the sleep that never comes or that which never ends ?" Someone asked me to guest post on their blog . Like 97.3% of things in life I don't understand the point of that . Like if this post said at the end "Actually written by CrunkDonkeyDick7800 not 40deuce , hahahah suckers !" how does that change anything ? Anyway I told this person I hate their blog and they should feel bad for writing it , not because was true (although is it) but because I feel its important to alienate people right off the bat . Its odd how hard that message is to get across sometimes . Anyhow , the point is that I was reading an article (always dangerous) that stated that women want to be judged by their appearance - they crave it as a matter of fact . Its all they care about . They can't live without it . Seems like a strange way to live to me , but who I am to judge ? I'm not the Galactic Grand Inquisitor (yet) . Its always a bummer when you found out you've been doing something wrong . I've been trying to get to know the ladies and like them on their own merits but it turns out that was the worst thing I could have done . Just give them a good once-over and then decide ; its what they want . If they try and talk to you don't engage , its a trick , just ignore them and judge them like a cow at 4H jamboree . The sad thing is at first I was like , this article is hilarious - satire ! But as I read further I got the sense that it was 100% sincere . I feel like one of the biggest (but not really) problems we got going is that people don't seem to understand cause and effect . The main evidence this dude (of course it was a dude) was touting was that women spend so much time on their appearance , therefore they must want to be judged by it . Which is a faulty conclusion of course , its equally as likely the reverse is true ; i.e. women (and men) spend so much time on their appearance because they ARE going to be judged on it . Which is why I have always supported the burka plan - which before you get all up in arms , is not that women should wear burkas for some pseudo-religious/patriarchal reason but that EVERYONE should wear burkas for practical reasons . And I mean all the time . If we're all wearing burkas (and gloves of course) BAM ! Lookism gone . Bam ! Racism gone . Bam ! Ageism gone . Bam ! Sexism gone . Bam bam ! No more money wasted on cosmetics . No more little bunny rabbits get cosmetics rubbing in their eyes . No more money wasted on designer jeans and polo shirts and jewelry and belts . NO MORE BELTS ! 68.2 of the world's problems solved overnight . By me of all people ! Who would have thunk it ? And consider this , in burkaworld , when you see someone's naked body for the first time you'll freaking lose your god damn mind ! I mean most people dress so scandalously these days you've pretty much seen everything already . But imagine if you live in burkaworld where you've never really seen any part of anyone - just seeing someone's wrist would be friggin' incredible . Bam ! Desensitization to nudity gone . I mean what kind of a world is it we live in where we've become so blasé about nudity . Nudity ! In other news after I my last post where I mentioned the PTSD thing a long time reader of this blog (who never comments ! ) who I didn't even know was still around , sent me a message asking "Didn't you get molested by your cousin ? Couldn't you have PTSD from that ?" But I don't think so . It wasn't really traumatic . I didn't even know what was going on . It wasn't until high school when I thought back on it and was like "Hey , that wasn't really cool ." But so what ? So my cousin jacked me off a few times at grandma's house . Is that really a big deal ? Is that why I wasn't interested in girls until after college ? Is that why I'm dead on the inside ? Is that why I keep everyone at arms length (preferably much farther) and may or may not be a sociopath ? I don't think so . But I could be fooling myself . In any case it has nothing to do with my trust issues - THAT stems from the babysitter's beating me up all the time and HER doing jack shit about it . Anyway , now the part where I make everyone hate me (but probably not because really no one cares - which is good ) . Sometimes people talk about blog-drama and I have to confess (not really but I am) that I always roll my eyes a little bit when I hear that . Its a blog . Its not a big deal . Who cares ? Maybe I'm being unfair , maybe some people really care about blogging for some reason , but when people are talking about deleting comments and banning people and etc. etc. it just seems a little silly to me . I've never deleted a comment and I never will . If someone wants to say my blog is shit and I am a terrible person and they're going to kill my whole family and so forth what difference does it make ? Words are wind . And words on the internet ? Less than nothing . Here's an example (just a little sample) as you all know my sex offender pal is getting out of prison soon (he may be out already) and I've been struggling with what my relationship with him should be like now . And in any case I wonder how he's supposed to live his life . The thought occurred to me that maybe military service would be a good way for him to go . He has skills they need , gives him a chance to learn some discipline and self respect (I'd like to think) , gives him an opportunity to give back to society , and I'd like to think (but probably not) that in the military if you start getting up to any kind of unpleasant sex offendery shenanigans there's a drill sergeant who will be more than happy to kick the shit out of you . Seems like a good option . So I went to the internet and searched for "can sex offenders join the military ?" Holy Christ was I not prepared for what came next . I knew the internet was full of hateful hating haters , but man oh man , I really don't realize how bad it is since I don't really get involved in so called social media . Anyway , getting back to my example , a lady posted the same question I had on a message board . But , she gave details . That's my first question . Why ? How does that help anything ? That just gives people more stuff to attack . She wanted to know because she was pregnant , her baby daddy was a sex offender , and he couldn't get work . A lot , A LOT of people , responded just to tell her she was a piece of shit for being with that dude . A LOT . Several told her she should get an abortion . A few said she should kill herself . There was a lot of terrible stuff on there . Not that I'm blaming her (but really I am) but that all could have been avoided if she just asked her question - can a sex offender join the military ? What did she hope to gain with the other stuff ? Sympathy ? Faux sympathy from online people you've never met ? I have no clue . But what is absolutely flabbergasting to me is that she responded to these people . Why , why , why , WHY on earth would you do that ? If you post someone and someone else is like "fuck you fucking fucker" the only way you can "win" is by not engaging . You're not going to convince anyone of anything . But man , oh , man , did she try . Which only made things 1000% worse . She talked about why he was on the sex offender registry , why they were together , how she got pregnant , etc. etc. and guess what ? People just said more terrible shit about her . And the one person who said something to the effect of "I don't know you , I don't know your situation , I'm just going to answer your question" (basically it depends) THAT person was viciously attacked too , JUST FOR ANSEWRING THE QUESTION . I guess what I'm saying is that if you're putting something on the web if you're not expecting to be horribly mocked , ridiculed , threatened and bullied until you get an eating disorder I think you're being a more than a little naïve . And I'm not defending the so called "trolls" at all , I'm just saying that's the way it is - there's no point in denying reality (except for its fun) . I felt so bad for this lady that I posted a lengthy comment supporting her . Which is messed up because for all I know she IS a worthless piece of shit , see I don't know , its just everyone else was so mean to her that I automatically swung to her side . And that's the true danger of vitriol . Just kidding , I also told her she was a horrible person - no reason to swim against the tide right ? Private schools have uniforms for precisely the reasons you mentioned. Well, sort of. I haven't seen any uniforms based on the burka look, but they are designed to prevent people showing off, or taking off, their clothes. In th Army they throw in a buzz cut so everybody can be bald too. I suspect that on the various news feeds none of the commenters are older than 14. They tend to have no concept of grammar and very little concept of reality. I used to think they were just drunk or high. Now I think they are drunk AND high AND 14. I remember a story about a French expedition to explore underwater ruins in Egypt. There were probably half a dozen people arguing whether that was Obama's fault or Bush's fault, and why are they using our tax dollars for that. I have to be REALLY bored to read comments. About a month ago I was watching some non-porn tube videos, I noticed that a number of them had the warning, THERE ARE GRAPHIC PICTURES HERE. So I did a search at the tube site. I put one word in the search box, GROSS. And they did have a bunch of really gross vids. Monsters Inside Me, Autopsies, executions, torture, cysts and oozing sores/lumps. Nasty. Crosswords increase your vocabulary. Cross words increase your blood pressure.

so, CAN They join the military?  i tend to support the losing side too... drove the girls in nursing school insane, because they couldn' figure out 'who's side' i was on, because i could easily switch sides. I confused them all, so i ended up being kicked out of all sides. lol =) --Author Unknown

The main reason I delete comments and ban people is precisely because I don't want to engage with them and I don't want them having fun being assholes to me and to other people who comment on my blog. The other reason is that they usually don't spell very well and they use bad grammar and it brings down the tone, and who wants that? *[blog charleyb223]*

(I really don't delete that many - only the ones that seem to be commenting on some other random post. Or if they call me fat or something. Or if they accuse me of altering my photos.
