Can you see the big picture? We are just a bunch of small fish swimming in a HUGE sea... But I am not talking quite on that scale. I'm talking more of on a scale of your immediate surroundings. Now when I say "small" business, I mean small. We have 10 employees. The owner, myself, 5 techs, two helpers and someone who hasn't actually ever worked for us but is employed here. That also makes me middle management. I have always been in middle management. When I was in high school I took a job in fast food and quickly became a "shift manager". This is the epitome of middle management. No authority but all the responsibility. Basically I showed up in the morning and whoever didn't show I up, I worked their shift as well...
